Virginia, Russia, It seems we are in some form of agreement. Persia assumes that you understand that these Companies will be under the Jurisdiction of the Persian Oil and Gasoline Company?

We are putting in place a time frame of ONE (1) year to bring the working conditions and wages of all employees of these Oil Fields up to those of their European Counterparts. While this Government shall provide help in bringing these conditions to bear, should they not be completed within the allotted time frame, then Persia reserves the right to bring thee fields under the direct control of the Persian Oil and Gasoline Company (POGC). We are happy with the profit margins at this time, however, in a maximum of 10 years these figures will be up for re-negotiation, in proportion to the amount of oil being pumped out of the ground. After such time, and every 10 years after that, those profit margins will be up for renegotiation. Should any new rigs be constructed on the sites of the existing oil Fields, then consultation with the POGC must take place.

We thank Russia and Virginia respectively for their co-operation and reason, pleased that such characteristics made their way to the negotiation table, as opposed to Gunboat diplomacy and bullying. We look forward to this new era in Oil exploration in Persia, and hope that this may be the beginning of a new era of relations that Persia has with the west (Albeit off to a bit of a rocky start!).

Mate, it may pay to watch your implied tone of language that you are typing with. Assume that EQ has received you orders, provided you put his name into the Send To box at the top of the PM screen. Also, check you sent Messages before you begin demanding answers from EQ. He seems a pretty reasonable chap, but repeated requests for answers will wear anyone down, and repercussions may come in the form of something horrid happening to your nation...

As I stated in an earlier post, These companies operate under the supervision, not jurisdiction of the POGC. My mistake. Essentially, the POGC is aimed at being a Regulator in the Oil Fields. It will be responsible for monitoring the conditions of the rigs, wages etc. A bit like an Industrial Relations Watchdog. No need to worry about it unless these things become really inadequate! I will periodically ask EQ about the state of the Rigs should he wish to get involved.

I that understandable?? Clear enough?? (Clear as MUD?)
