OOC: sorry for possible double post. In regards to the slave trade Britain outlawed that in 1807 so it should be outlawed... The act that outlaws slavery altogether wasnt passed until 1833 though so i suppose some britons could own a slave or two.. maybe

OOC: As you said before, this NES does not strictly follow real history. Part of the alternate history is that the slave trade picked up rather than dropping off. Rather beneficial for Haiti, as it gives them something to stand against.

It's just asking for trade routes so we help eachother, like resources, techonologies, luxuries, that kind of stuff when ever we need/want it. And the war pact where we will help eachother incase one of us goes to war.

@Nailix: Technically, trade routes would already exist for most states with even half-decent infrastructures. A trade pact would be the deregulation of privately-conducted trade between states. If anyone knows I am wrong, feel free to blow me down ahkhukhukhukhukhukhuk toot toot.

well I meant that Spain and I would have a personal trade pact, because our trades with other countries could be disrupted because of wars or something, but with this Spain and Portugal's would always be there. So really I'm asking for an alliance with Spain.
