Heres what the writers have to say about it...............

"Theres No stoping the Simpsons, Have no Fear we got storys for years"

i fail to see how the word 'human' can be used to describe the word 'end' in relation to the Simpsons. The end of the Simpsons cannot be human in any way.

Maybe the better episodes are fewer and farther between, but the Simpsons is still a brilliant show. I'd like to see them go on at least for the forseeable future.

I had heard a couple of years ago that they were waiting to produce a 'Simpsons' movie until they had decided to put an end to the series. I also heard, just a few weeks ago, that they were getting the ball rolling on such a movie, so who knows. They just signed up for two more years so it would be after that.

Family Guy is a lot stupider. The Simpsons is much better, which is obvious since the simpsons has been on tv for over 15 years. Although I'd like to see more Futurama.

Maybe they will finally reveal what state they are living in in the final episode...

It's hard to put an end to what is most definitely the best TV show ever created.

I blame all the crapass Simpson's clones, alongside the simple length of the series, for the decline of the Simpsons. Family Guy springs to mind. yes, I know that teenage guys who love the internet also tend to love family guy, but it really is a crappy show. trust me.

Amen. Family Guy is the very definition of a low-quality clone.

famaly guy is so funny! It uses stupidity to put in random things and things everyone is thinking about, and is absolutely hilarious. On the other hand, the simpsons uses the same charecter steriotypes to the death. For example, the "new" episode I saw on sunday was about Marge babysitting the Flanders children, and seeing how overprotected they were. The exact same as when the Homer and marge lose custody over their children and the simpsons have to live with the Flanders, and have overprotective rules put on them. (e.g. going to bed at 7)

i used to watch the simpson religiously about 4 or 5 years ago but it has gone way down hill. it was at its prime season 3-8 but has gone no where but down hill. i don't even watch them anymore, and when i do see one i don't laugh.

like someone else said earlier, the movie will be made when the series is over and the movie is in the early works. so i think its only got 1 or 2 more seasons.

i was hoping that futurama was going to pick up where simpsons left off, but unfortunatly fox let that little gem slip through their fingers. though i hear there are plans for straight to dvd features of futurama.

Not only is it a low end clone, but it jumped the shark way back in Season 3. And if you take any Family Guy episode, and put it next to most of the "middle ages" Simpsons, Family Guy looks like ****, because it relies on nothing but stupidity to make jokes. And the fact that the numerous celebrities "appearing" on Family Guy are just the same guys as always pisses me off.

In summary, you can end the Simpson when you come up with something worthwhile to replace it with. Arrested Development was a diamond, and could have easily replaced our favorite yellow family had they been given decent advertisement on FOX.

Unfortunately they have not gotten back to the best. Only the Treehose of Horror episodes are funnny now. They need to remember what made it good. Perhaps we could write a better episode.

Anyone who advocates ending The Simpsons should be summarily executed.

You don't want to know what I'd have done to those heretics who believe Family Guy or Futurama to be the true TV Show to watch.

Appearently new episodes are still worthwhile to FOX. Since it is helping the economy I am all in favor of them continueing.

That the Simpsons can continue ad nauseum and Firefly gets axed after one season says a lot about what is worthwhile to Fox... :vomit: :suicide:

Ehm hello everyone Jessica and Nick divorced, I doubt there will be any new episodes:p
