Now don't get me wrong, I really hate Glenn Beck, but I'll give the devil his due, when he deserves it. I think Beck really hits the nail on the head here, especially with his message at the end. I would question, though, whether we are willing enough as a people to take up the guns if (when) the words don't work.

When I see this video I understand where quite a few people here get their political education...
The big problem with mr.Beck (except of course for this imbecile use of "left" and "right" for political siblings) is that he doesn't recognize the class character of fascism, which makes his analysis not very interesting. Minus point also for bringing up that rat Orwell. Like some former poster I also couldn't help notice which date this was published on.
That said, "velvet fascism" is a good term, I think I used fascism with a smiling face myself in my thread, and yes your country is heading towards fascism unless you get rid of your current corporacy. In short, you are in need of a real, potent political left which will put the interest of your people ahead of that of Big Business.

As an act of mercy, I am not commenting on neither his nor a few other's pearls of wisdom. I think this thread has been mostly pure comedy and the big clou is easily a couple of pages ago when a fascist fails to explain what fascicm is.
