An Idea Of why Marijauana Is Illegal

I realized that, even if the goverment Legalizes pot, they would not want to expose the public to it openly, like smoking, they have commercials against it, alcohol they have commercials against it, they would even have commercials against pot too! i'm in the wrong state to be typing right now, i'll look into this later.

I bet plenty of people would smoke it anyway.

I want To capitalize random Words too Because I don't Speak english well and/Or I'm pretending To be german!

I have a question: Is the DARE programm also taking sides against alcohol and tobacco or just against weed? If not, then I'm perfectly enabled to call them all a bunch of hypocrites!
As a person who actually went through the dare program in elementary school, yes. They emphasized not drinking or smoking as much as marijuana, as well as other drugs like uppers and downers, in particular stuff like huffing paint. They also taught us about things like resolving things with non-violence, how it's bad to spray graffiti (I remember that part because in the book they gave us it had an illustration of some cretinous kid with a shaved head holding out a can of spraypaint, and then some kid in the class yelled out "Why is this kid bald? Does he have cancer?" True story), and other such good citizenship qualities.

So no, it wasn't an enormous campaign against weed exclusively, at least when I went through it 7-8 years ago.

Alcohol - legal
tobacco - legal
reefer - illegal

Where is the confusion? No hypocrisy.

I'm sure it would be sold in as many varieties as it's consumed. In packs of joints, baked into things, or just in big pieces like pipe tobacco is sold in.

I just don't know if Marlboro would be able to pull it off.

Nowadays a lot of marijuana smokers in the U.S. are used to smoking very high grade stuff. This is because a good portion of today's weed is grown indoors with advanced growing techniques and hydroponic growing systems.

If Marlboro were to break into the marijuana market, they'd need to satisfy their customers by turning out some real high-quality stuff. They also wouldn't be able to get away with adding anything to it, since there's no way anyone who currently smokes would tolerate that either.

I just don't think they'd be up to the task, given what they do with their tobacco.

So we're admitting that DARE is simply propaganda of the lowest sort?

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever why marijuana cannot be contained, cultivated and taxed, the exact same as any other substance. Hell, it's been done before, albeit on a smaller scale than would be necessary now.

Yeah, seriously. Name one good, legal, thing that it's good for?

Making uptight squares uncomfortable when you stare at them, eyes completely bloodshot and a goofy grin on your face saying "Hey man, you wanna hit or what?":)
