AND2 and SVN Bug Reports - A New Dawn 2 ONLY

Does anyone else get odd Great Person probabilities like this?

Civ4ScreenShot2877.JPG

They add up just fine when I mouse over it, where it shows what buildings are contributing to the results and so on, but the overview it will have odds that don't add up like 100% 100% 65%. This one was one of the more.... Extreme ones
1,600% and 100% heh. The mouse-over shows the proper 94% to 6% though, but it is strange to see!

Too many great commanders are made by the AI.

Spoiler :

When they do make them, they just sit in one city and don't accompany attacking/defending stacks.

Granted some AI's do merge them into cities as great instructors, but with one of the SVN updates, all merged Military instructors where pruged from the city. I had 5 in one city alone, so they do merge them into cities, I took it of the Portuguese.

Great commanders are great, and do work, both defensively and offensively for the AI. But they tend to keep them in the cities only, or will send them out and about ALONE.

The translation update is ready but i have some troubles for registering my credentials on tortoisesvn. How do i do that ?

EDIT: I've found the error. If you use "svn://" or "http://" to access the server, it do not ask for credentials. You must use "https://" on sourceforge.

I will investigate this in the coming weekend.

Koshling did some extensive work to fix this in C2C and it has improved a lot as a result. You might find it easy enough to adapt in but I'm not sure where it's all located.

I have a save file here with two AI's hanging on with Great Spy units when Require Complete Kills is turned on. This was saved from v725, which should be the first version that Require Complete Kills doesn't require killing off Spy units. Could someone take a look and see if the same thing happens to them? I haven't updated lately because I need to look at how the text files have been reconfigured.

The mod name for this to work has to be Rise of Mankind - V Work. That's my experimental version.

I have a problem with the little religion icons not appearing in various places where they should be. They are present in the diplomacy screen, but missing from the civics menu, scoreboard, and civilopedia entries. I am playing on rev 730 after reverting back from 733 in hopes that it would fix this problem. It does not.

@Vokarya - I loaded up the game as per mod name, it asked me to update the dll or what ever it asks, I didn't, it did show Ver 630 though on base, which is what I'm currently using, but it immediately destroyed the Japanese and Babylonian civilizations, so??? seems to be working as it should.

Maybe you need to hit return, as your still on the same turn as the one you destroyed the rebel Calvary upon.

Which religion icons are you missing in these screens ?

Sorry if i add you more work. Just open "_categories.parse" (in Translations folder) with a text / xml editor. Here are the categories and a tag list for each one.
The parser firstly list all tags in the files, then it choose the first one in the list. If the tag begin with a tag listed in this file, it assign the corresponding category, if not, it assign "MISC". Then, if the tag contains "_PEDIA", it write the tag in the "CATEGORY_PEDIA.xml" file. Then it goes to the second tag !

I am playing on the Steam version. I'll try to verify the installation in Steam. Thanks for the help.

Even after re-downloading the exe and reinstalling the mod, the problem persists. I should note that I am using dbkblk's AND2 Checker.

Steam's Civilization 4 is slightly different than the Civilization 4 sold on disc (DVD). I know because I found that out the hard way. As I said, I will look into the matter, but I recommend "obtaining" a copy of the DVD installer and using that edition of the game.

I got mine as a digital download off Amazon :king:

@45deg: Could you point me to some documentation you used for debugging Civ ? I would like to try to understand where i can see error messages for pitboss but i don't know where to start to help you...

I'm also working on improving the parser to support russian by converting alphabets to be compatible ingame and with the platform (that's hard !)
