I thought about that for a while thinking " rubbish , my dog always looks up" , but now I think about it.......

When I was a kid I built a tree fort that was right above my dog's lot. Sometimes I'd climb up there and yell at him and he'd always look around left to right but he'd never look up. I even tossed pieces of bark at him and he'd still not see me. Though the dog I have now will look up at any food near the edge of the countertop.
