In the country you live in, are you a minority in terms of race/ethnicity? Does anyone have any interesting experiences or events?

I'm half white and half Indian (Indian of the dot not the feather) but I'm not sure that really counts. Most people think I'm Greek or Jewish for some reason.

I'm half white half asian but I look asian.

I assume it makes me a minority because appearances matter I think.

Im white, just plain white with a touch of pink, depending on where i am dont think it makes me a minority.

Yep. Asian, Atheist, Liberal, in America.

And, no, not in Kansas.

I'm half Brazilian, but i look like most other white people. Im just a shade darker, and have black hair

I am half-Filipino and a Quebec anglophone, but I think almost everyone could find that a part of their lineage is of a minority. Also, a "minority" itself would change from place to place; if I where in the Philippines, I would be half-white/mestizo.

:p Im white, blue eyed, brown haired, and my family tree originated from Germany and Scotland but we have been americans for over 200 years!

I'm bastardized native american offspring, irish and welsh. So yeah, i guess.

If you're half Scottish and half "American" then how could you be Anglo-Gaelic-American, which implies English-French person who is American.

anglo means english.

Gaelic is Scottish, Irish, or Welsh, while I thought Anglo was German, I could be wrong.

*smacks head* Sorry, I misread your post. I thought I saw the word "Gaul". You're right in that "Gaelic" does include the original Celtic inhabitants of Britain and Ireland.

I'm Jewish, so yes. although, i'm not a minority in my town, i am a minority in America.
