I've noticed that as I've gotten older I've become much more neat and tidy. My room used to be a pig-sty but now I keep things pretty neat in my apartment.

So do you keep your place clean? By "place" I mean like your room if you are a kid living at home, or your apartment if that's what you got, or whatever.

Well, my side of the room is ok, the guys on 2 of the walls are relativly neat, and one is worse than me. I voted decent :)

Decent. My apartment here is fairly clean, but that has more to do with my lack of stuff here. My room at home is rather messy, to put it nicely.

So on average, that works out somewhere in the middle.

my room is so messy
i got coke cans laid all over the room
clothes litter my room
my bed is never made
Dvds, games and cds all all over my dvd player and xbox
the doors in my room are mostly open
my closest i havnt seen the floor of it in a while

Now, this one I'm curious about. Is it really significantly harder to even just put the Coke cans in one corner of the room than to toss them on the floor? I have some empty bottles and cans in my room, but they're neatly placed over to one side (actually, they make a delightful pyramid on my windowsill). Placing them randomly on the floor, even though I'm not a particularly neat person, would bother me to no end.

I remember my dorm room last year when both me and my roomate were slobs. We had three trash bins and would wait to empty them until all three were overflowing then we'd take out the three trash bins and put all the overflowing trash into the three trash bins filling them up but we wouldn't empty them then and there, we'd let them sit until they were overflowing all over everything again.

that's really gross

I haven't emptied the trash can in my room at all this year. And by this year, I mean since I moved in in August.

well most of my coke cans are near the computer or near the trash can there is one lone coke can near the closet
2 on my lamp desk
3 in my top drawer where my tv is
10 near my CPU desk
9 in or around my trash can

and they have been there for a while since i drink 2 cokes a day along with 8 glasses of water

Yes it was, and the funny thing is it was still the room everyone piled into for lame nerd parties (which just served to make it even more gross).

Quite messy - there's plenty of stuff thrown randomly on the desk.

Well I don't care if the room is messy. I make sure there is a path to the bed and computer (I don't use the room anymore, I sleep in another room, my brother uses my bed!) and there isn't much stuff in it to make a mess of. Book go on the shelf or nightstand/drawer set, clothes basket go on the guest chair which is never used either. Stylesjl never makes the bed, which I don't care (I try to keep the air freshener nearby. Long periods of time, the room stinks when you try to enter if the door is shut) and basically there can't really be a mess made as we can't reach the K'nex or Lego nor do I care to use it.
I'm quite tidy actually

I'm a packrat, and am actually rather thankful for the current cold weather. I can't go anywhere, so that gives me no excuse not to at least try to tidy up.

When I live alone I'm OCD, but since I live with my family I survive with fairly nice.

I am one of the slobbiest, most disorganized, people I know. My roommate however is military-style clean and orderly, so it makes for an interesting combo. :)

The odd couple eh?

I'm pretty messy.

Yup. He said he really doesn't mind since I do not infringe upon his side of the room. At first I thought I was in for some serious lecturing.
