American and I dont care about the World Cup :p.

I'm Canadian, I've only watched a little bit of it. I like playing soccer since it's so simple and so much fun, but I don't like watching it because of the ties, acting, and the fact that they rarely score!

Watching the England games and the more interesting other group games. England vs Ecuador Sunday 25th of June, 4pm GMT, will be glued to my telly like a person who is stuck on something very firmly and cannot be shifted. Like a limpet, damn too late.

The world cup is a frightful bore, just like the game it revolves around.

.

I'm an American, and I watch as much as I can, which is difficult, because all the games are being played while I work. But thats why god invented the radio

I think this adequately sums up most American's view of the World Cup.

As I'm English I have to watch the world cup, because we're going to win!
same here!
it has been a long 40 years.
time to get the trouphy back home!

And acording to the poll i'm the only european here that doesn't watch it. :p

Till, you're non-american & non-european ? :hmm: I thought you were german.
I voted before the poll option was renamed to something less confusing.
Kan: I'm using the BBC site as well, unless England plays.

I don't watch it as it is unamerican to like soccer

Pfft, it's unscottishlike to support the English football team. Doesn't stop me.

Nothing to do with the fact my best friend is English and knows martial arts. No sir.

A real scotsman would rather die, or at least that's what i assume from the 5 minutes of braveheart that i watched

Nono, a REAL Scotsman would rather be hung, drawn and quartered while crying out FREEDOM!

At least according to the last five minutes of Braveheart that I watched.

What a load of rubbish :p

This Scot prefers to live and laugh as England's world cup campaign meets it's very own Stalingrad.

Good times!

:D

An American, and I watch when I can (at least, until I lose interest/fall asleep, which tends to happen when I watch sports on TV).

England out on penalties then Curt? :D

I have watched quite afew games so far, I will probably watch more now that the group stage is over and the matches are getting more important.
