Squad Leader
As the Darkness grows,
Heroes Rise and Fall.....

Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
"Forward the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns!" he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
Forward, the Light Brigade!"
Was there a man dismay'd?
Not tho' the soldier knew
Some one had blunder'd.
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.
Flash'd all their sabres bare,
Flash'd as they turn'd in air
Sabring the gunners there,
Charging an army, while
All the world wonder'd.
Plunged in the battery-smoke
Right thro' the line they broke;
Cossack and Russian
Reel'd from the sabre-stroke
Shatter'd and sunder'd.
Then they rode back, but not,
Not the six hundred.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon behind them
Volley'd and thunder'd;
Storm'd at with shot and shell,
While horse and hero fell,
They that had fought so well
Came thro' the jaws of Death,
Back from the mouth of hell,
All that was left of them,
Left of six hundred.
When can their glory fade?
O the wild charge they made!
All the world wonder'd.
Honor the charge they made!
Honor the Light Brigade,
Noble six hundred!
This an Action Chat room game loosely based off of an idea for a novel that Lighthearter had a few years ago, and has recently given to me. You will take control of a solider/sailor/pilot in the Battle of New York (fictional battle on 12/21/12 between an alliance of the world and america that will make or break both forces) battle, and be transported to a fantasy world that is at war with itself. You will be forced to choose sides, become a hero or a Villain, and it will be upon YOUR shoulders that the weight of their world rests. Will you aid the dragonriders, elves, and dwarves, or will you side with the Kingdom of Nathar? Or perhaps you will be abducted by mages and trained to use their magic in service of the Dark Sorcerer……
NOTE: Game times in the chatroom will be based on EST times, so please recognize that while signing up in case any issues with using EST time may occur for you (say if you live halfway across the world, this may be a difficult game for you to play consistently).

Allegiance:
This will change throughout the game. At the beginning, you will either be American, or World, since the starting battle will pit combined worldly armies against the American military. Once you transport though, you will have to choose elves, dwarves, men, dragonriders, etc.
World- You are part of the Worldly Militaries. Basically, from ANY country other than the USA.
America- You are defending your homeland from the vile invaders of the outside world who wish to see it burn for what your people have done overseas. Defend it to the last breath!
Military Arm:
This is the Army, Navy, or Air Force. This will decide which set of classes you can choose from, and in turn your skills. It will also in a large part decide what kind of game you will play, as your arm will decide whether you command a ship, lead a squadron of planes, or be at the front of a company of foot soldiers and tanks.

Class:
Army Classes-
Tankers are naturally better at operating tanks in any capacity, and are usually proficient enough with horses to be decent in any cavalry corps as well.
Foot Soldiers are the cannon fodder of the army. Yet even cannon fodder will be valuable in the coming days, when a simple gun will be able to defend you, whereas a tank might attract….larger…..predators.
Paratroopers are the elite foot soldiers that drop from the air behind enemy lines to cause havoc. The also double as black ops commandos, and will be expected to get things done, period. No questions asked. No war criminal trials.
Navy Classes-
High Seas Combatants like to use direct force projection like battleships, the big guns, to accomplish tasks.
Aerial Enforcers prefer the indirect approach of sending 70 planes off a carrier to bomb the enemy fleet into submission.
Air Force Classes-
Sky High Bombardiers are they guys who stay away from battle, since they typically fly slow lumbering planes that couldn’t dodge something they see coming a mile away.
Ground Supremacists get their hands dirty supporting the infantrymen on the ground, making their jobs easier, yet their planes will almost certainly be vulnerable in the air.
Ace Interceptors are those red barons that all the bombers pray are paying attention to their tails so they don’t get shot out of the sky. Never embark to the sky without one. They are everybody’s best friend.
Mage Classes- Will be unlocked later.
Dragon Rider Classes- Will be unlocked later.
Demon Classes- Will be unlocked later.

Spoiler :
Ground Forces:
All:
Foot Soldier: A regular run of the mill soldier. Typically will have basic faction rifle, a sidearm, and 2 assorted grenades. 1 CP for 1 man.
MG Squad: 4 soldiers operating 2 heavy MGs. Must set up MGs before using. 3 CP for 1 squad.
Black Ops Commando: The ones who do the dirty work. Heavily armed. Restricted to Paratroopers. 3 CP for 1 man.
Humvee: Multi Purpose combat Vehicle capable of transporting up to 6 men. Can be outfitted with a grenade launcher (grenades for this are 5 GP for 1, but usable only with vehicle grenade launchers), an HMG, or a rocket launcher of AA/AT variety, or no armament in exchange for extra space to transport 3 more men. 6 CP for 1 vehicle.
America:
M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle: More heavily armored than a humvee, this beast is made specifically for transporting infantry and supporting them on missions. Has a 25mm Chaingun, and an AT TOW missile launcher. Can transport 10 men. 10 CP for one vehicle.
M60 Patton: An older american tank, but still combat worthy, it provides numbers in any tank battle compared to the quality given by the abrams. Has 172mm main tank gun, a grenade launcher, and 2 HMGs. Can carry 3 men on its armor. 15 CP for 1 vehicle.
M1A3 Abrams: The best tank in the american army, it packs a very big punch on the battlefield. Has 120mm Smoothbore Cannon, 1 HMG, 2 MMGs, AA missile launcher. Can carry 5 men on its armor. 25 CP for 1 vehicle.
Bell AH-1Z Viper: The best american attack chopper there is, it is a monster on the battlefield, although it has proven vulnerable to AA fire, and is no match for the Mi-32. Can carry 2 men, has 2 Aim-9 Sidewinder missiles, 4 Hellfire Quad Missile Launchers, 2 stations for 70mm Hydra Rocket Pods, 1 20mm Gatling Gun, . 20 CP for 1 vehicle.
Justice Missile System: A prototype Missile system made by the USA to defend against enemy aircraft. Is made up of 3 HUGE trucks, 2 to store the missiles, and one to carry the platform that will launch them and the custom crane that will reload them. Carries 15 missiles and launches one at a time. Costs 12 CP
World:
BMP-3 Infantry Fighting Vehicle: The equal to the bradley, yet less armor and more firepower. Has 100mm Gun, 30mm autocannon, AT Missile Launcher, 1 grenade launcher (10 GP for 1 grenade), 1 MMG, 1 LMG. Transports 12 men. 10 CP for 1 vehicle.
Leopard 2: The foreign match for the Patton, it has heavier armor, and has 120mm Smoothbore Gun, 20mm Autocannon, and 3 HMGs. Can carry 2 men on its armor. 17 CP for 1 vehicle.
Challenger 2: The 'equal' of the Abrams, it is generally regarded as superior, with better armor, a better gun, bigger engine, and just generally more powerful and more maneuverable. Has 152mm Rifled Gun, 2 20mm Chainguns, 2 LMGs. Can carry 6 men on its armor. 30 CP for 1 vehicle.
Mil Mi-32: A highly advanced Russian military attack chopper that was gifted to the United World Military to help fight the USA. Extremely advanced with kinetic and camo armor and an unprecedented weapons system, it is unrivaled by any american counterpart. Can carry 4 men, 8 Ataka V Quad AT missile Launchers, 30mm Gatling Gun, 2 Missile Mine Dispensers, 8 R-73 Archer Missiles in 2 firing slots, 1 grenade launcher, 3 HMGs, 60 'Smart' Kinetic Missiles that are computer guided but have no explosive ordnance and rely on high speed impact. 30 CP for 1 vehicle.
Liberation AA Platform: The Equal to the Justice System, and in fact the German platform the Justice System was based on. In mass production phase and much cheaper than the american system, this is similar, except it uses smaller and faster missiles that rely on using small amounts of explosions, kinetic energy, and computer guided missiles to score direct hits in order to take down the enemy's superior fighters. Carries 20 missiles. Costs 8 CP.
Supermarine Spitfire Multi-Purpose Missile System: A multi purpose Missile system, this is in mere prototype stage with no american equivalent, and it has been designed and made in Britain, and naturally tested against the french
p). It can employ massed volleys of smaller warheads 6 at a time or a single shot of a larger missile. The smaller missiles are based off of a small amount of explosives complemented by Thermite and a special uranium compound (not quite nuclear, but much, MUCH more powerful than ordinary ordnance). Carries 60 smaller missiles and 10 larger ones. The larger ones use a Plutonium compound instead of uranium, and are used for Long distance attacks. All missiles are effective at both AT and AA purposes, and it also has a third missile for use against infantry, where it is filled with shrapnel and a new concentrated gas that gets into you through the pores in your skin and kills a human within 12 seconds, both of which are spread by a high explosive center. Fires 1 at a time. Carries 72 smaller rockets, 12 larger rockets, and 8 ground target rockets in 5 heavily armored trucks that wont be breached by anything less than a full load of explosives from a B-52. The Launcher itself however is vulnerable to enemy fire, particularly from the air and from higher caliber tank guns on the ground. Costs 20 CP.
