Never approach a girl when she's in a group. It just doesn't work. I recommend you talk to her when she's alone. In my expierence talking to a girl alone is when you can mostly have long and meaingful conversations.

I'm not sure. I know that there is a case in English Law were a singing teacher obtained his pupils consent to fondle her breasts during her singing as he convinced her it would improve her range. Whether that range included falsetto and whether those stories have put women off attempting to sing falsetto has no impact on me repeating this story.
