Well when we rule the world, NZ can run it but you guys can supply the vodka. Might need to invade Australia for the wine though.

It mentioned that Russians did get a lot of fishing rights because of Soviet but dosnt explain ?
Kinda a good deal to just give 2% of the catch to the government for fishing rights.

Rubles taken a big hit. About a week ago it was 40 rubles to the NZ dollar now it's 48.

That doesn't seem good.

Usual thing with oil price crash. It was worse in 2008 and 2014, though current one is just a beginning.

How dose that even work, every 12 years just change the constitution counts as a reset ?

MOSCOW — Russia’s parliament offered a path Tuesday for President Vladimir Putin to stay in power for an additional 12 years after his term expires in 2024, approving an amendment that would reset his presidential terms.
The plan, floated and supported by Putin’s United Russia party, is part of a sweeping rewrite of Russia’s constitution that many view as a way for Putin to retain control of Russia well into the next decade.

The term-limit proposal was met with applause when it was introduced by State Duma deputy Valentina Tereshkova, beloved nationally as the first woman in space. The plan would reset the current term limits to zero, meaning Putin could run twice more for the presidency, once a restructured constitution is adopted.
