Shabba Farms were originally Syrias and the lost them in the '67 war. Why does the US veto security council decisions about Israel, mainly because the very few we do VETO are not balanced, they blame Israel and place no blame on the other party when they must shoulder some of it too. Israel BTW has had more resolution on it, than any other country IIRC. Most always drafted by other ME counties. You go and read the very few that the US has Veto'd your see what I'm talking about if you look at it as a objective thrid party.
for Shabaa Farms you are true accept my apologize:hammer2: but in iran i heard that they belong to lebnan but the main problem is remained and isreal take them by force from Syria except of lebnan

I read wikiepedia about veto of us in favor of israel but this show that us support israel and uses this right for israel and why UK or frence don't use this right for favor of israel? IMO this is shows that us support israel more than Iran support hezbollah so no shame and blame if iran declare that support hezbollah
one side is supported by US and other side is supported by Iran and it is funny that Iran needs supports of Russia or other countries like china!:)
can say that Russia is supporting Hezbollah and us israel like past time in cold war:lol:
but I know that it is rediclious!!!

Only one country in the world has F22 and Israel isn't it.The US has not yet exported the F22 to any of its allies. Recently, however, the House of Representatives lifted its nine year ban on the sale of the advanced jet outside the United States. No real contacts have yet been made on the matter. So I don't know where you are getting that information but it's wrong, it's not like you can hide one while flying over. Israel has the F16I as their most advanced plane.
ok another mistake but sure in next time that Israel invade lebnon they have it:lol:
and I know that F means fighter, B mean Bomber and R means recon planes in us air force
I bet that F16I is the second advanced figher of US army and even world or I'm false :crazyeye:

but deads need grave, even you say that western like Hindous burn thier deads

can you link me some sites that shows a injured poeple in hospital or when poeple put thier deads in grove
I saw in films that christian and western collect when wanna to put a dead box(I dont know what is the name of it in english, muslims don't use it) in grave

for Iraq many times iran's tv show pics of poeple are puting thier deads in grave or injuried poeple in hospital
and also US solders dead box and graves

Look at the pictures closely. The dead are VERY skinny. There is no way these are soldiers or people killed in attacks. They were starved for a very long time. Which means, most likely prisoners. Since the Geneva convention would not aloow this treatment to POWs then they are obviously something else.

The biggest problem the nazis had was how to kill so many people. There is no easy, cheap, efficient way to kill people.

No we got a bunch of them ...
The F-35 Lightning II, F/A-18 Hornet, F-18E and a bunch more ... correct on the letter assignment ... don't forget the X series ... little is known about those. they are experimental.

And if your goal is to lay the table for dinner, do you 'win' then too?

Winning implies competition against someone else who must 'lose'. This is a very black and white way to approach a complicated situation like that in Iraq today, and, to my mind, inappropriate.

The military is black and white ... its politics that are gray and I think that is where your confusion lies.

In military you are either alive or dead.
In politics you are either a civilian or combatant.
Which is easier to figure out?

First I'm not defending Israel's actions ...

If I had to use a poor analogy I'd say Israel is like that kid in the classroom that is picked on by other kids, every day. They don't do anything until one day they just snap and go off beating the living hell out of those picking on it. Israel gets suicide bombs so offen that many don't merit the front page and think they just get sick of it a strike back with immence force. Bad analogy I know but I've got to get some work done and don't have the time currently to think up a better one.:)

Palestinain has terrorist though, Lebanon is a puppet of Syria and needs to control there country and not let Hezbollah do it.
IF and it a big IF Iran wants to build Nuclear power of power, Ahmadi nejad is not going about it the right way, you don't get what you want form countries in the west by preaching hate, calling the US the Great Satan and all that crap. Just not the way you get the things your want.

Thanks again for this thread and I look forward to your reply.:)
so you accept terrorist as a official army
how can terrorist defend a country, they only can blow some where and create terror and horror between poeple
I don't think can count at these poeple as a army
What do you think?

remember that before israel lebnon war, UN diecide to Syria exit thier army from lebnon and then isreal attack there
if you believe that Hezbollah can defend poeple of lebnon, so no more pressure on this organization or what ever you call so put thier guns away!

I disagree with whom call US and others Satan or hatefull names (In iran call US great Satan, UK old Satan and other names for other countries), but remember that most of fundamentalists use such names and sometime poeple accept because for a long time, there was thier pressure on Iran (like wars with Russia and UK in past and possible war with US in future)

The latest crisis in Lebanon was triggered by an attack in the border on an Isreali patrol between 2 parties at war (low key conflict between Hizbollah and IDF), the solders were captured for prisoner exchange purposes.

The last bombs that went off in Isreal targeting civillians that is attributable to Hizbollah in Isreal happened before Isreali widthdrawal from Lebanon. After the widthdrawal, Lebanon was working on integrating Hizbollah resistance force into the Lebanon society and politics. Where did this "Israel gets suicide bombs so offen that many don't merit the front page and think they just get sick of it a strike back with immence force." come from? Did you meant Hamas? If so what has it gotta do with Lebanon?

Hi. Thanks for this thread. I've read it with much interest.

I have two totally non political questions:

First: Two of my close friends are travelling from the Netherlands to India in a very old Landrover. Offcourse they also passed through Iran (which they liked a lot BTW, nice people, hospitable...) They regurlary send pictures home. I like them alot. One of them was of a very old ruined bridge in Iran, in a truly beautifull landscape. What's the story behind this bridge? How old is it? Who build it?

I love to cook. Do you have good Iranian recipes? :)

How about: Israel is the big fat kid who gets picked on everyday - they shoot spitballs at him from the back of the class and call him names in the playground. Every once in a while he loses it and flattens a couple of the annoying little s****. Guess who ends up standing outside the headmaster's/principal's (sp?) office. Guess who gets tarred with the 'bully' brush.

It doesn't take long to herd a couple of hundred people into a room and gas them. The nazis treated the extermination like an industrial enterprise: the reason for the gas chambers was that it was quicker and cheaper than just lining their victims up and shooting them (a waste of bullets). I seem to remember hearing that the turn over rate for a gas chamber was about 20 minutes. so imagine 600 people dead per hour per chamber for a couple of weeks and you can see how the figures mount up.
I heard and saw in film that Nazis kill old poeples and use youth of them for working
but I agree that number of poeple killed is too haigh but not up to 10000000
think about that this number if try to fight with Nazis then more bullets waste

when i heard about wy of killing in this way, think that why these poeple don't revolt and try to fight with Nazis
some time think that maybe accept that Nazis have right to kill them
they saw that thier niegbours and families gone and never come back, so they know that maybe they killed and this is possible future for them, but why they don't revolt, in both way they die, but there is little chance to escape from prison and camps in secound way
but waiting when some solders come and bring them to Gas room is redicilous!

Because Nazis standing right there pointing guns at them?

From wiki, on the size of the German army:
Between 1939 and 1945 close to 13 million served in the Army.
They had plenty of guns to spare for herding their victims to the concentration camps.

They were rounded up and many believed they would be going to work camps not death camps. They did not realize it was a gas chamber. They were told the room they were gassed in were showers (to clean themselves).

You are correct that it's not 100,000,000 but closer to 12,000,000. A huge number of people nonetheless.

NO their not a official army they are a proxy of Iran, Ahmadinejad (damn that boy needs a shorter name) admitted that. I think Hezbollah is going to do nothing in Lebanon but bring further trouble, sure they'll go in and build some schools or house but that is nothing more political positioning to get support ... so when they stir the pot with Israel and Israel bombs it into the stone age they have support from the people and then when the weak and usless UN whines until it stops you can claim victory even though your country is nearly destroyed.
Lebanon has said they are not going to disarm Hezbollah, they have not placed troop in the south, they have already violated UN 1701 just as they did UN 1559 but you know, I know, God/Allah know that if Israel strikes back at Hexbollah that is already going back into the Southern Lebanon, Israel will be blamed. Lebanon MUST take control of it's country or it is not deserving to be one.

PersianBoy: What is the reaction that you are seeing to this exhibition in Iran? How is the TV / print media etc reporting it? What are people saying to each other on the streets?

many media and news describe it as a offence or defence against Danish cartoons
so they officially support it but fear to publish cartoons in internet because they fear their site be hacked

many poeple saw before danish cartoons and don't understand what they say
many only understand that cartoon about wife of prophet and know that story is false and maybe think that some one must tell westerns that story is false but no one do it

I show that cartoons to may family and they also don't understand that cartoon but because others say that they offense prophet by that cartoons, then they hate publishers of that cartoons

about holocaust cartoons the fair begaining yesterday and untill know usual poeple don't think about it
so i can't say so much things
but when organizers of that fair declare thier aims and president talked about holocaust in way that all of you know, poeple interest in holocaust and begain talking about it so as you see in previous post i talk about it and describe thought of poeple in my questions and be sure that publish document about it between iranian group and sure that they publish it

Around 51,000,000 died in all of WWII ... 35,000,000 civilians. give or take a million.

Good questions. Let me add one of my own:

How is the Iranian Jewish population responding to the cartoons?

they protest about denying it and write for president and also in thier magazines about it and offer some documents for it (its persian and I don't find a link for thier magazines)
but the general reactions like other jews and they dislike president's openion
