Since I have to have some teeth work done (notably, getting two wisdom teeth removed), I have realised something: I am not a dentist.

So, go ahead. Ask anything you like, in English or in Español, and remember, I'm NOT a dentist.

I reserve the right to ignore and/or misinterpret your questions as necessary.

No, it's gruesome¼. Can't stand the sight, smell, or even sound of dentsit's activity.
Although I do tend to like dentists. Maybe it's because I'm used to them.

¼: Does that mean I might get eaten by a grue? I've never been sure of that one.

One makes you sit and puts dents in you?

Have you not been a dentist long? Did it require any sort of non-specialized training?

I made the huge mistake of waiting far too long with my first wisdom tooth removal, so I had to go through the entire ordeal a few years later with the other side...

Totally. I've had to stay out of the Odontology Faculty at our university for over two decades -wasn't easy!

Yep, they tend to hurt like hell on their own. I postponed them untila fter my early March exams and they're going to come upon my mid-April exams, but it has to happen sometime and I can't push them until next December/January.

What is the proletariat's opinion on dentistry? Bourgeois conspiracy to steal the masses' teeth or cornerstone of the people's revolution?

¿A qué se refiere usted con eso?

Hurts but necessary.

Then, it's not only a conspiracy to steal the masses' teeth but also a conspiracy to make more money flow from the proletariat to the bourgeoisie. In other words, capitalism in its pure state. Therefore, it is a cornerstone of the people's revolution that we socialise dentistry.

What's your opinion on the Falklands conflict

What's it like being a dentist?

I haven't read the thread so sorry if this has been asked before, but I expect you to answer again anyway.

Have you ever seen a dentist when they weren't doing dentistry? I have a suspicion that they only exist to cause pain and misery upon people's teeth, and when they aren't working, they're hiding in a cupboard waiting until the next day.

Do dentists really endorse toothpastes? If I were a dentist, I'd tell people to not brush their teeth, in order to generate more repeat business.

What is your favourite film.
What is your favourite non dentist character.

Are you a dentist?
