The thread has a pretty high activity level, it's kind of hard to notice things before someone else more active than me notices them first. I'm not even usually that original in a not-super-active game, at least not on day 1.

This is fair. Regarding Sushi and Lassie, some buddying up makes sense, not as masons, but vanilla town. In fact, that's probably the most likely read on the situation. Sushi and Lassie are both alone in a foreign land were they've gotten some guff. Pairing up over mutual history is pretty naturalistic in a slightly unpleasant environment. That explains most of their interaction. If they had a QT as wolves, masons, or the worst lovers of all time, they'd have some support and wouldn't need to reach for something familiar. But they're bottled, so we're seeing it all fizzle.

What does ‘resolving Murska’ even mean?

The funny thing is, that's grammatically correct in at least 3 different ways, though I'm not sure what Cuth precisely meant.

Just one question I have about this- There's 26 players in the thread that aren't you. 100 divided by 4 is 25, not 26. So, how did you account for that? Did you pick someone not to vote for? Were you willing to vote for anyone but made a few people less likely?

This seems grasping. Although I intially assumed Arakhor was simply rounding where he was excluding Kenny, but still.

Parroting other's reads, saying what's been said many times, being misinformed on people's opinions, Murska having voted for you...

Known no cop game. You can easily do lots of damage under the guise of "solving the game" before you're caught so I don't buy your I'm obviously the towniest person here argument.

Lohren has moved into my scum leans. Newyn actually town lean. Jarrema maintains my scum read on him. King Morgan as well, though he looks better than any of the others (besides Newyn). Choxorn is pretty meh too, scum lean.

Agreed. Lassie can move above Arakhor and below Cuth for town credit. Although I'm not sold on all of the reads being scum. One mafia seems a good bet in such a pronounced turn over.

Lassie is pretty strongly town imho. The attitude is grating, but we're here to find scum, not rank social skill.

Although wouldn't that be a colorful chestnut to explore?

Hellllloooo everyone who is voting Lassie. If he were a smooth Pikachu type pokemon, would you vote him? Instead of him being a fiery little Charmander.

He lists non less than EIGHT reasons for his vote on me, both including that it was just a test, while also saying it was because he thought I was scum for several reasons(meaning it wasn't just a test vote).
None of these eight reasons are because of my answer to Cass, which he ignores to reason(and which was what I called him out on)...

!!!! he unvotes me for something that wasn't even on his big lists of reasons for voting me. He had EIGHT reasons for voting me, even claiming I failed the test he did by voting me.

It's Cuth. The more awkward his reasoning looks the more I'm inclined to read him as town. I was going off a meta tone read before, but he's solidifying now. One day he'll learn to weaponize this and I'll fall for it big, I don't think that's this day. He's flailing. It's not a good attack, and he isn't getting STAB with it because he's not a normal type. Never has been.

I'm not sure I care. (sans a few terrible candidates) It's Day 1. If he wants to poke everyone, the only real cost is the amount of noise generated. Of which there is already a surfeit. Why are we all acting like this 3 days into the game? (This is rhetorical) Is the mafia going to seal the deal tomorrow?

So I moved off them and never looked back. Dude won the game as the mafia godfather and gloated about what a chessmaster he was. Whole thing was completely fake.

So I am unmoved by Lassie's frustrations. My vote stays, regardless of all the "townie frustration".

Arkahor - his outright refusal to contribute is reminiscent of how he played d1 as scum in demon council. See this exchange from that game:

Sounds familiar, right? Stuck to a random vote the whole day there too. Look at a concurrent game where he was town, Red Dwarf, notice the difference. Lots of posts, getting people's faces. There are more than a thousand posts in this thread, I can't see why a townie would stubbornly refuse to stick to rng - you can't find a single thing worth voting someone over?

Now that I write it all out, it seems like a pretty decent case actually. Hmm.

Cuth - Meh, more of a gut read than anything. Just seems weird. I agree that #900 is bad, seems like an attempt to over-explain. Not a strong read, I can see him being town and acting like this.

landlubber - already explained in morbid detail

I am admittedly not great at coming up with reads when all there is to go off is behavior and tone, especially since I believe those things are generally murky waters to sift through anyways. Arakhor and Lassie are the only ones I feel any sort of confidence in, and I think the former is actually fairly solid now that I write it out instead of listening to a vague gut feeling.
