August 3rd - Consolidated information thread.

Damn I came to post that Victoria ability.. :D

Would love to learn about her Agenda.

I don't think its a free Redcoat with Military Science... instead she can build Redcoats with Military Science

coffee and tobacco are in the game per pantheon bonuses

Brussels (Industrial CS) Unique Bonus: Your cities get +15% Production towards wonders.

Toronto (Industrial CS) Unique Bonus: Regional effects from your Industrial Zone and Entertainment Complex districts reach 3 tiles farther.

Preslav is a City-State as well (Militaristic).

Brussels is an Industrial city-state and their bonus provides a 15% bonus to Wonder production in all cities. (Beat me to it)

Lisbon and Geneva are also city-states (presumably Maritime and Religious still).

France's Grand Tour provides exactly 20% production towards Medieval, Renaissance, and Industrial wonders and doubles the tourism from all wonders.

Catherine's Agenda is called Black Queen and her ability is called Catherine's Flying Squadron (the espionage bonus is providing an additional level of Diplomatic Visibility to other civs)

Garde Imperiale receives +10 combat on the home continent and extra Great General points.

Chateau receives +1 culture. +1 gold from adjacent luxuries, and +2 culture from adjacent wonders.

Egypt's Iteru provides exactly 15% boost to Ancient and Classical wonders.

Cleopatra's ability is called Mediterranean's Bride and provides +4 gold to Egypt from all outgoing trade route. Incoming trade routes provide the other civ with +2 food and Egypt with +2 gold.

Sphinxes cannot be built adjacent to each other, provide +1 faith and culture, with an extra +2 faith if next to a Wonder.

I'll keep writing more.

I like this "Regional effects" concept... so certain districts Might affect multiple cities

(ie if there is a factory in X tiles, mines get +1 prod or something like that)

Hojo Tokimune's Divine Wind provides +5 combat to units on coastal or Coast tiles, but also halves the time to build Encampments, Holy Sites, and Theater Districts.

The Aztec ability is called Legend of the Five Suns and lets Builders provide 20% of the district's production.

Montezuma's Gifts for the Tlatoani provides amenities from luxuries to two extra cities and +1 combat for each luxury improved.

Brazil's ability is called Amazon, and Pedro's Magnanimous ability provides exactly 20% of the Great Person points refunded.

Qin SHi Huang's ability is called The First Emperor and lets builders provide 15% production to Ancient/Classical wonders and the additional worker charge.

The pantheons sound lifted from CivV, only balanced so that one isn't blatantly better than the rest.

Which is fine by be as I liked that part, and was only disappointed because they didn't seem to go back and balance them.

More Great People:

Isidore of Miletus (Medieval Engineer): Grants Wonder production.

Laozi (Classical Prophet)

Euclid (Classical Scientist): Provides the Eureka bonus for Mathematics along with another random Classical or Medieval tech.

Homer (Classical Writer): Odyssey and Iliad.

Michelangelo (Renaissance Artist): Sistine Chapel Ceiling (Religious Art), Pieta (Sculpture), and David (Sculpture)

Yatsuhashi Kengyo (Industrial Musician): Rokudan no Shirabe and Hachidan no Shirabe.

Boudica (Classical General): Converts adjacent Barbarians.

Gaius Dulius (Classical Admiral): Forms a Corps out of a military naval unit.

Bi Sheng (Medieval Engineer): Lets this city build an additional District regardless of population, and triggers the Eureka for Printing.

Zhang Qian (Classical Merchant): Gain an additional trade route, and foreign trade routes to this city provide +2 gold for both civs.

Adi Shankara (Medieval Prophet)

Qu Yuan (Classical Writer) Chu Ci and Lament for Ying.

Donatello (Renaissance Artist): Saint Mark (Sculpture) and Gattamelata (Sculpture) and Judith Slaying Holofernes (Sculpture)

Johann Sebastian Bach (Industrial Musician): "Little" Fugue in G minor and Cello Suite No. 1

So it looks like there's more categories for Great Works: Writing, Music, but now Relics, Religious Art, and Sculpture.

Embarkation is unlocked at Sailing now so you get it a lot earlier than in 5.

Monty's Agenda is that he hates people who have Luxuries he doesn't.

Pangaea Maps are considered to have multiple Continents in terms of game mechanics.

Camps are unlocked at Animal Husbandry. No separate tech for Trapping.

There's new Strategic Resources in the game.

Toronto, Brussels, Lisbon and Preslav are new City States.

Toronto and Brussels are Industrial City States, a kind we haven't seen before. Toronto increases the range for bonuses from Industrial Zones and Entertainment Complexes by three tiles. Brussels gives +15% to Wonder production.

Lisbon is Trading City State and Preslav is presumably Military, based on it's red colour.

Shock/Drill Promotions are gone and replaced with a new Promotion tree.

Crater Lake gives +4 Faith, +1 Science. Counts as a source of Fresh Water. Holy Sites get adjacency bonuses from Natural Wonders.

Lol, I'm guessing someone's not happy that the pantheons were revealed. According to Filthy, that's not supposed to be showed.

Not that I'm complaining ;)

Not sure if we knew that already, but works of art supposedly show up on the trade screen now.
