I honestly don't remember. I tried out a couple of black and white avatars years ago; that might be one I used here, but given its rectangular shape, I don't think so.
I have to mention that some of the avatars I've used on my own forums were huge by CFC standards. I shamelessly indulged myself and others who liked large avatars, since we came from forums that only allowed small ones. So I've got avatars in my collection that are rectangular and quite large. There's one that I'm not sure I'd be allowed to post here... it's a bit risque (everything that's legally supposed to be covered is... barely).
Anyway, here's my current TrekBBS avatar. I had to come up with something fairly quickly, that wasn't animated. This was the result. I've used it for several years now, and have thought about changing it but can't decide what to use instead.
