I just made this because i wanted to. I'm never propably going to play it, or anything like that, but i think it looked good enough to post here.

The year is 99999384, and one of mankind's forgotten backwater planets in the crotch of the galaxy is being roasted to charcoal by the starsystem's red giant. For this reason, almost all forest and water has recently disappeared, animal and plantlife are almost non existant in most of the planet, and to make matters worse, a large group of pirates, mercenaries and just all around evildoers and the planet's worst inbred excuses for people have banded together and are currently attacking their neighboring nations. All civilizations on the face of the planet have pretty much regressed back to the stone ages, due to the discontinued (selectively forgotten) support from the main human empire. Also, some time ago, some unruly kids bombarded the planet from space for 100 days straight with the mass drivers of their battlecruisers. (Yeah, every kid has to have those in the distant future. Atleast all the cool kids do. :crazyeye: )

So anyways, Mongols are a large and powerful force, but they are at war with China, Japan and Korea, which should even the odds a little. Also, England and Zululand are in locked war. Everyone else is neutral. No food resources, and only ivory as luxury resource. Planins and Hills are colonizable, nothing else. I thought to make mountains impassable, but that would have limited the map a little too much.

Anyway, here's some screenies:

Some hints:
Previews are good (but .gif's are even better than png)
Also adding new units/buildings/governements/terrain etc makes a mod much more interesting...

Well, i'm a vanilla player, and i belive in making scenarios with the parameters provided with the CD installation. In my experience, the every mod for any game ever either messes up the balance of gameplay, is overdone to extreme, or just looks very bad. Classic examples to this are any of the real world war maps for Civ3. I belive that Civ 3 suits best for something like random maps, or multiplayer arenas. There's a game that is much more accurate for real world playing, and that's Hearts of Iron 2.

Both Civ3 and HoI2 are excellent games, but they both work in totally different ways.

But mainly i made this scenario to bring some originality to the whole Scenario area, since all i see nowadays is huge scenarios with huge mods and millions of new units. Imo that's a little too much for a game as old as this, but that's just my opinion. ^^

Perhaps you could have some more different terrain in the map, to make things more interesting!

If you change it a bit more, we'll have more fun ;)

I will take a look at it in my editor, and play with it if need be. Not sure why guys expect you to do all of the work. The Window versions of Civ3 all have editors for all versions. It is the Mac guys that lack the editor for the later versions.
