Border Wall not Catapult Tall.

I for one blame the catapult manufacturers on this, clearly they're marketing their products to the drug smugglers.

I suggested a canal from Brownsville to the Pacific, built with captured illegal invaders. One mile wide, and patrolled with river gunboats. Yeah baby, that's the way you do it, money for nothing and your chicks for free.

That seems like a Dire solution.

It could be a good replacement for the Panama Canal

How about we just fix our screwy immigration policies?

Oh wait, that's far too practical and doesn't involve getting a boner for the military.:(

No, a much better investment would be building up Mexico with that money so less and less people are incentivised to come here. Furthermore, undermine the cartels by legalising/decriminalising their revenue sources where practical as well as combating them alongside our sister country.

A canal through the lower Rockies at several 1000s feet elevation? :crazyeye:

"We do not do these things because they are easy. We do these things because they are hard" - some socialist president.

Considering the would be smugglers were force to abandon the drugs, I would say the wall WORKED. Now we just need to make it longer.

Yeah, if we made it longer the wall would totally stop all the drugs from pouring into this country...

And locking your car will prevent all auto thefts:rolleyes:, yet we still pay for the locks

The difference is that Americans actually want to take drugs, whereas no one wants their car stolen.

Or did you forget that?

I will grant you that some Americans want to take the drugs, but the Majority of Americans don't want smugglers.

So is this wall really a good investment?

Show me a 16 foot wall, I'll show you a 17ft ladder. The ladder will always be cheaper.

I really like this technique:
One technique involves the use of specially designed trucks with ramps built in the back and front. These trucks pull up next to the barbed-wire border fence and lower one of the ramps over to the U.S. side, while the other ramp slides down the back of the vehicle. Smugglers in SUVs loaded with drugs then drive across these mobile truck-bridges into Arizona without ever touching the fence.
Putting the "can" in "Mexican" :hatsoff:

Well clearly, we can't have people from poor countries coming here for jobs, and getting workers' rights and environmental protection in the bargain. The jobs have got to go there, so our capitalists can enjoy the business-friendly environment. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Why go to all the cost of operating gunboats? Just fill it with sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads,

We could just move the border north, making it more difficult to reach.
Or move it south. Then they won't be immigrants.

Whats the problem it would just take a few years with captured illegal invaders to dig and you get a free canal or money for nothing.
But I am not sure about the chicks for free I did not realise there was such a big problem with chickens.:)
