    You know what BUG is (I hope) . . . The DLL is the fourth way to modify Civ4, the others being Art, XML, and Python . . . And BULL is the BUg dLL. :) We will be releasing it with BUG 4.0.

    You can ignore my report about foreign advisor - I had that problem in RoM and not in BUG. I was switching back and forth between BUG 3.6 and RoM 2.6alpha and remembered the error report from wrong mod :lol:

    But my earlier bug report from Strategyoverlay still happens in BUG 3.6 (it's installed as a mod). Happens in alt+x mode when move mouse to the plot with the dot but doesn't happen in ctrl+x mode.

    You've changed the font the game uses. It's different and the scale is totally messed up...

    That's the weird part. How would adding a new glyph to font X make the game swap font Y instead of font Z? It makes perfect sense that some religion icons would show the new airport icon, but it makes no sense to have some letters change the font they are rendered with (small to large).

    Looks like the chevron denoting 5 specialists is missing. Did you merge in all the art?

    Oh and you cannot open sevopedia from main menu without starting a game before (thought this got fixed?).

    And: Some icons in sevopedia are missing (left side of the main screen). The affected categories are bold now?!?! (units, specialists,...)

    Do those things happen with stock BUG SVN or only when merged with your mod? The font problem is known, and you should just delete the newer font file, but the other things worked for me last time I checked.

    That's not an error, that's intentional. In (German) gaming world Field of View or FOV is a commonly used term whereas the German term "Sichtfeld" isn't used very often. So for the sake of better understanding I left this term untranslated and provided the translation in the hover text of the corresponding option.

    Stock BUG SVN. The first one is not appearing the first round. I guess it has something to do with Goody Huts.

    Loading BUG Mod (as a Mod!) and looking into sevopedia is not working from main menu. Do you always try as a mod? I never play with custom assets. ;)

    Which newer font file? GameFont.tga? //edit: okay deleted.

    Hi folks
    Since i Installed my new Vista (had xp before) i cant get the Interface to run.
    I tryed History in the Making, which i played the days before installing Vista with no problems and Amras advanced both with all patches(amra crashs to desktop). I dont use civ-complete i still checked registry entries all seemed fine and i have 2 more XP PCs in Lan where everything works fine. I installed civ/civ warlords 3 times and beyond the sword 5 times no change. I cleared my cache changed language from german to english a everything else what seemed similar to my problem still a no go. I think best would be i post both python errorlogs although the error in both cases seems the same. Thanks in advance for help.

    We fixed this in a recent BUG release (3.6). Vista uses different registry values to find your Documents folder. Open [Custom]Assets/Python/BUG/BugPath.py and look for the line that says

    Code:
    r"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders",
    
    Change it by inserting "User ":

    Note the space as well. The same may work to fix Amra, though it doesn't appear to be using BUG. Instead, change CvPath.py.

    Thank you very much for Help. HitM runs smoothly now but amras advanced still crashes to desktop when i try starting a game. I found the file you mentioned and changed it just like HitM. There was another file named CvPath.py_BUG (a BUG-Dir is also present) i changed that too. The Error seems to be something else now. I checked some files but i am not sure what exactly to change now but it seems to me its also a problem with the path under vista. I know its maybe Amra related so here is maybe the wrong place to ask for help but i still do :)

    I don't actually see any error messages in that log. Is that PythonErr.log or PythonErr2.log? The second one is useless; only PythonErr.log and PythonDbg.log are useful. I highly recommend asking about this error in the Amra forum as you'll get someone that knows the mod.

    Its the right log. I am not sure maybe the crash is related to something else i will check amras forum. At least Hitm runs thanks for that.

    Any thoughts on these? Do I need to install Warlords? Do I need to change to Vista file locations? Should I wait for BAT with the new BUG built in?
