Bug Reporting

Here you are, I added some civs myself, but I already checked that anyway without them, just the BAT Mod 2.0 Washington appears with his eyelids pink.

Regards

Same bug here.

GPU: Nvidia 275gtx
Driver Version: 190.38

PS: Love the new BAT 2.0!

I just ran into the graphic bug with Washington in BAT 2.0, and see it's already mentioned here. It looks like the pink some graphics apps use to indicate an alpha blend/transparency.

Yes, it does have an error. I'll look into finding a new leaderhead for the next release. I don't know if Chuggi has been able to repair it yet or not... if he doesn't I'll see about downloading another one. I've been thinking about updating the leaderheads anyway, so this gives me a good reason.

Some little bugs I've found (maybe already reporeted, I've not read everything yet):

I installed BAT (yes, Alerum, finally I'm trying it :) ) with the installer, OS = Windows7 RC 64 bit.

1) BOSS settings are not saved the first time after a fresh install; closing and restarting the game allows to save them the second time.
2) the setting for the Combact Odds is not saved.
3) the log in html still has the annoying problem that the àèìòù letters are written uncorrectly.
4) a couple of bugs in ITA translation (I've committed the fixed files)

So how are you liking it Camm?;)

I didn't do it with the NSIS script installer, I did it with the old installer. One thing about the ini is that they have to be created. For some reason I think there is a problem with BAT that it's keeping the inis in the old folders, even though everything but the Mod Name, and Help File python files are taken from the BUG SVN.

Which log in HTML are you refering too? In the help files, or somewhere else? BAT has the old help files still.

Thanks for the Translations!:)

If you start a game in the renaissance era at epic speed (1285 AD) Buffy 3.19.001 says it is the medieval era rather than renaissance. Afetr playing for a while it then changes to the renaissance era - unfortunately I didn't notice when that happened. Presumably some xml file needs updating?

Assumed BUG: Logger.

Someone posted this to the funny screenshots (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=8342535&postcount=991) that showed their ship being killed by a French Privateer. I am willing to bet that our logger shows the same information instead of a just a Privateer.

Solution: Track down the unit number of a Privateer and suppress the nationality (or say Barbarian) in the logger message.

Or is there an XML value that says to hide the nationality?

Not bad :)

No, I'm speaking of the loc created by autologger.
I use html output, and it gives my bad letters instead of àèìòù; it always did. In the past, I was able to fix this manually adding "àèìòù" by Alt+E :D but in this new version this strange workaround has stopped working.

Another little bug: counter in naming convention seems to start not from 1 but from 4.

hum... don't know about the log issue. Wonder if that's part of BUG or BAT. Wonder if it can be fixed simply by changing it to unicode? Dunno if it's a limit of BTS how it outputs the information, of if the log need a unicode header.

That's an issue with the autologger. I was talking to Ruff about this before he went on vacation. The code is probably going to have to be rewritten, or close to it. The new counting method should allow for much easier and more powerful counting features... hummm... maybe I'll play around with that today.

This isn't really a bug with BUG, but rather a feature of the SVN folder rearrangement- the daily RAR file doesn't include the Info or UserSettings folders that are in the SVN. Just a FYI. :)

BAT 2.0: The Native American Knight doesn't show. Instead there are three bright red half spheres. Missing model?

Confirmed. Will let Avian know in his thread. Can you go to our Bug Reporting tracker for BAT and post a tracker item for me too please? Thank yoU!

The links in your download page are screwed up. If go to the BUG download link I get BAT instead.

Do you really need BUG when BAT is out there?:P j/k. Fixed.

Fixed. Can't believe I overlooked that when we changed the folder structure.:crazyeye:

I'm really not interested in any graphical changes to the game. I'm surprised you even have to ask that question frankly.

PS: And no it's not fixed, the link still leads me to the BAT mod.

Yes it is fix. Hit F5 to clear your cache, and try again.

Nope. I did what you suggested, twice in fact, and it's still coming up as BAT.

Never mind, I was clearing the cache on the wrong page. I have it now thanks.

Hmm, still 3.6 I see. I guess that means BULL hasn't been released yet either then.

dunno if already reported, but the hurry timer is missing in your svn version (I've got the newest stock bug mod):

just found the BUG game options, why the hell is there no timer anymore? there was a timer in vanilla without custom source files.
