Are courthouses supposed to help the "buildings" level in stability? Because they haven't.
You mean in v1.11? They influence the expansion stability category in the SVN version.
 
I think there building them gave a permanent +1, I don't know right now in which category I displayed this, if at all.

I recall playing other games in which it worked.

EDIT: It does appear to work, but doesn't seem to count for captured cities which already have them. This problem may be in the SVN stability system.

Yeah, because in the old system you were given additional stability for building courthouses, not controlling them.

The new system rewards controlling them, though, so that is not an issue anymore.

Which file should I check? Also, which file contains :health: modifiers for each civ?
CvRhyes.cpp for both.

something strange is happened:
1555- The game crashed when i switch turn. I reloaded the save directly from desktop and it appeared in italian language (with no words on the screen; I've attached an image). I switched it that way and it not crashed.... so I've quit the game, loaded normal BtS. changed language and loaded my save. When i Switched, it crashed again.....
 
So the game only crashes if your language is set to Italian?

That's not a surprise, the mod only supports English as of now.

No Leo. the game is set in English, if not it should not start.
When i switched turn it crashed, so i reloaded it directly from save folder and it appeared as you can see in the picture. I thought it was set in Italian (I don't change anything, it has done it by itself), so I closed the game, loaded BtS and rechanged languege. Load last jap save and it crashed.

English: crash.
Load from desktop: game in Italian (?!?!?!?!!!!) and worked in switching turn.
Load BtS, changed language.
Load Japan save, switch crashed.


Anyway, I reload a previous save, and I don't star war on China. It worked and I decleared war in 1560.
 
Sounds like the crash is unrelated to the language settings, regardless of what is causing that (I'm pretty sure it isn't DoC).
 
I've gotten the following CTD bug repeatedly during all my RFC years basically, and I still have no idea why - even after reinstalling everything (more than once), it shows up once in a while. Am I really the only one experiencing it, and is there no cure for it?

Only RFC or also for the base game or other mods?

It's somehow related to your interface settings, have you installed an alternate interface at some point? Deleting the Resource folder in My Games/Beyond the Sword (or in one of its subdirectories, not sure) might help, if it exists.
 
In my 1700AD game (Marathon/Monarch), I spawn w/ 2 Albion Legions instead of the Minutemen I'm supposed to get. I've noticed that this has happened in other games as well (I was playing as England in 600AD when the Dutch spawned with Musketeers :confused:)

Cannot reproduce that, are you sure everything is installed correctly on your end?
 
Just to chime in here, a few revisions ago I loaded a Prussia game I had been playing and to my bewilderment found my garrisoned Riflemen and Grenadiers had been transformed in Redcoats, Albion Legions, etc. No save, but I've had it happen to me as well.

Saves from an older revision are another matter. They're not always compatible.
