Bug Reports and Technical Issues

I'm playing the latest GIT and light swordsmen are pink when I don't have them selected. Playing as Babylonia, though I've also seen it happen for Tibet.

They look fine for me, are you playing with low graphics settings?

It would explain why it doesn't show up for me but for you it does (I have high settings). Maybe I can still fix the texture.

Can you explain more when this happens? When I order an Ironclad to sleep, the model remains normal. Same with Ship of the Line (your screenshot shows a huge SotL). Am I missing something?

It is huge Ironclad actually. Not SotL. I also have lowest graphics settings. Some frames of Ironclud show huge under special condition like sleeping.

Seems like the art is incorrect in general then, it's not supposed to look like this.

Does anyone here still have a save where Catholicism or another old world religion spreads to the new world even though no trade route has been established to an old world civ, or even before contact is made? I believe this bug exists but I cannot reproduce it to implement a fix.

Sorry, found something else: here I am playing Ethiopia, UHV 1 about settling two Great Prophets. I did not produce a single Prophet so far. I captured former Egyptian city of Yebu. A Great Prophet had been settled there before. Orthodoxy was finally founded then and expanded to Yebu and another city of mine. Later I lost Yebu to barbarians (nasty Berber cavalry... should have bought some metal for spearmen). Now I see the UHV 1 is accomplished!

Or do the cities not belonging to me count there too?
I know something about Ethiopia UHV1 and settling prophets has been reported, so this is a similar case.

Need to look into it, maybe I'll consider that intended.

When you switch to a new civ, there are some bugs:
-Turns end automatically and stack attack is disabled, so you have to go to the Options menu to manually enable them.
-Your espionage is managed by the AI.
-You can't put gold in diplomacy, only AIs can say what gold you give or receive at deals. You have to reload the game to disable this bug.

I know, I will take care of this when reimplementing civ switching.

How do I build Triremes? Are those War Galleys now?
Is it just wording and the event should stay? I could fix that myself. 7triremes.png

Yes, war galleys are meant. The event text needs to be updated.

Hippodromes strategy text in Pedia claims that compared to Theater it looses one of it's Artist slots. But Theaters Pedia talks about only 1 Artist job to begin with, while Hippodrome's Pedia still shows 1 Artist. Something is wrong in all this...

The strategy text is outdated, I decided to remove that difference when moving one artist slot from theatre to weaver.

There are still Warriors in the game, but civilized nations cannot train them. Only Barbarians have them, but also Tribal Villages gifting you one, or Tribal Village spawning hostile Warriors.

Thanks. Its funny that Europe is in the late Classic building heavy swordsmen, my Ethiopia is struggling around early classic fighting Medjays and there are warriors in the village in South Africa :).

Still there is a bug as the Warrior entry is missing in the Pedia. It is only in the section Unit Charts - Melee and when clicking the link, Python exception appears as there is no target:Civ4ScreenShot0011.JPG Civ4ScreenShot0012.JPG

600AD scenario doesn't work, cannot load it initially. I needed to open it in word pad and save to make it work.
Resources on islands without city needs fort to be counted, building normal improvement gives yield but not resource itself.
