Bug Reports and Technical Issues

[last SVN before culture update]

when I conquer Lvow back from the Vikings my game crashes every time. But not with the "usual" crash to desktop but instead just does nothing.
I assume the conquest causes the Vikings to collapse (and those always take a few seconds) but this time the calculations just dont seem to end.

A civ which depends on culture mechanics?

Will look at it.

My guess is Polynesia...
I'm looking for a good LH to represent 'Aho'eitu of the Tu'i Tonga Empire.

As far as I can tell, there are only two male Polynesian LHs in the database. Kamehameha is too late and his power levels are too high. Hone Heke looks good, but the facial paintings suggest Maori too much.

Does anyone have another suggestion? Or can someone help me remove the paintings from Hone Heke's face?

Also, what do you mean by "Kamehamehameha is too late"?

I can't speak for Leoroth, but I'd have thought that a Polynesian civ would have completed its expansion UHV before the 19th century.

It means Dragon Ball dragged out its fights for too long.

There's actually another one, a Tongan queen from the T'ui Tonga Empire. I forgot her name but she appears Polynesian, a bit short, wearing dresses with flower, and looks like my chemistry teacher. I'll try to figure out who.

EDIT: Salamasina

[SVN793]
While I am at an incredible +35 stability (5 of which are from the foreign column), I get a "our relations with <some neighbour> have deteriorated" every time I get a new tech. I repeat, I am at solid, have no column even listing a negative stability factor and yet...

@ales: Dragon Ball is a pretty popular Anime show (or was), known for dragging out its fights over 6-7 episodes even if they are only 2-3 minutes long (in actual in-show-time)

ok, it is official now. 1700 AD Canada start crashes around turn 58-60 more often than not. All you have to do just try to load Canada without suppressing autosave, but I am not sure where it can be done. Unlike other start this one has Toronto from the get go.

A reproducible save would be nice.

Bismark, Churchill, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Washington and Charles V should have Protestantism as their favorite religion not Catholicism.
Augustus should have Catholicism as his favorite religion.

Charles V? Of all people?

sorry cant find a save from that time at the moment, when it happens again I will post one.

but this is far more serious - and weird - I just loaded my game from yesterday in order to continue it, moved a unit and then...

well try it yourself, just move any of my units anywhere, if it doesn't get stuck, please save it and post that save -.-

edit: wow, it seems civ just changed my language settings while I did a reload, causing DoC to crash in this weird way. anyway, seems fixed for now -.-

Otherwise good points though, they're in my to do list.

Another CTD with 3000 BC Canada start!:hammer:

I'm playing the donwloadable 1.12 (no SVN) and in every 3000 BC start I've played long enough to see the Mongols appear (I'd say three or four), they spawn with zero technology, be it ai or human Mongolia

Yeah, Mongolia start at barb lvl technology, none. 1.12.

But also in my game China resurrected in 1190 AD. Doesnt that mean they have the 10 turns of peace? Of course Mongolia spawned the next turn and spread their troops across the map. I think that in the hands of the AI, Mongolia needs to use that initial stack of troops to conquer China. Maybe no resurrects just before some critical spawns?

Not sure what causes this, I have rolled a 3000 BC Mongol start and they had all their techs.
