It might be. The game uses existing civilizations of the same tech group to determine the defenders the AI receives. It is not supposed to create unique units though. If you upload a save from the game I can look into it.
 
The installer tries to determine the correct install location from the Windows registry, but that sometimes fails. If you fix it by moving the files manually, the registry entry for the installer will still be incorrect. Instead, I would try to remove the files and run the installer from scratch again. Then, there should be a step in the installer menu where the install location is chosen. You can change the destination there manually, and it should proceed successfully.

The entire mod folder that the first run of the installer has created.

When attempting to install the mod again, did you select the correct installation location manually, like I suggested?
 
You can try to find the "phantom path" in your windows registry and delete the key it is associated with, and then do another install to the correct path. You can also try to correct the registry entry to the correct path directly.

Pheonician UHV3 has a huge problem, the "African coast" includes the coast of all lakes inside Africa, and the coast of all Islands around Africa (Madagascar, Sao tome and even Santa Helena). To complete the 50% by the "normal way", you have to sail all along the west coast and also along a part of the east coast reaching almost Kenya, with the necessity to build at least 5 cities in sub-saharian Africa to pass capes !!! I really don’t think it is intented.

Sweden's third UHV goal (Have the highest approval rating in the world for fifty turns by 1980 AD) doesn't scale with game speed.
 
Clearing Taiga after Ecology does not produce hammers :hammers:. Is this a bug or feature?

If it is a feature, inquiring minds would like to know, why? Dense forest is still a forest and provides timber for construction.

Yes, I was, but I also tried removing taiga without any improvement. In both cases no hammers 🥹

When you load the save, does the game crash immediately? Or do I have to press end turn first?
 
Okay, thanks. Just checking because sometimes people submit saves where all units have already been moved, which automatically ends the turn when loading. This makes it more difficult to investigate the initial state before the bug.
