Welcome all
In the beginning sorry at poor English language but Just learning all the time.
I am a 48 years old and I play Civilization series long time. He started from the No. 3
I would like to also thank you for the great mod over which the very hard working
But I had to write because I still do not know what's going on.
My first installation was fast, I did not see the need the patch and the addition of Civ 4 diplomacy.
Perhaps it was causing the crash followed about 1,050 or 1,100 years
Then I read about that on careful DLL in other modes
I checked
He had only one mod City Radius 3 to 4
I stopped him subscribe to have any 15 minutes ago :)
I hope now everything will work correctly
I searched for files with information about crash
I wanted to show them here, but I have a different name than you write and do not know what to do
is the name in my root directory of the game on steam
civilizationv_dx11_395131_crash_2014_7_13T18_44_52C0.mdmp

Sorry you are having problems. That is quite the list of mods! I'll highlight the ones below in bold that I fear may be causing the problem.

Also, make sure that the 'Civ IV Diplomatic Features' and 'CSD' versions you are using are the ones linked to on the 'How to Install' page.

  • Civ IV Diplomatic Features
  • Extra Victory Conditions
  • City-State Diplomacy Mod (CSD) for Brave New World
  • PolicyPlus+ - this will conflict with CSD and the Community Balance Patch
  • Play The World Extended (Brave New World Edition)
  • Cultural Diffusion
  • Ethnic Units
  • Japan Enhanced
  • [BNW] American Wonders Pack
  • Workable Mountains
  • State of Israel
  • Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • (G+K or BNW) Goldsmith, Jewelers, and More Luxuries
  • R.E.D. - Smaller Landmarks
  • Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD)
  • Emigration
  • Ingame Editor
  • Medmod_VI for BNW I would avoid mods like this that change a lot of defines values, as that could conflict with the Community Patch's
  • Lumber Mills on Jungles
  • [BNW] World Trade Center Wonder
  • Ancient Building Pack
  • Enhanced Military Buildings
  • Improved Water Mill
  • Improved Granary
  • Improved Windmill
  • Classical Building Pack
  • Cistern and Marina - New Buildings
  • Strategic Buildings Pack
  • Medieval and Renaissance Building Pack
  • Industrial Building Pack
  • Unique Policy Buildings
  • Ancient Building Pack 2
  • Starting Worker
  • Strange Religions
  • Fallout - City States
  • Beyond the future
  • Exploration Continued
  • The Kingdom of Norway
  • The Kingdom of Italy
  • R.E.D. Modpack
  • The Soviet Union (Stalin)
  • The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
  • InfoAddict
  • Example - Simple Clock
  • The Empire of Germany (Hitler)

Make sure that the none mods you are using, aside from the Community Patch, have a file in them that ends with .dll. Two .dll mods will conflict and will not work.

If you still cannot get this to work, try running just the Community Patch, the Balance Patch, and (optionally) CSD and Civ IV Diplomacy Features. If you get that to work, add in other mods slowly, starting with mods that add entirely unique content (like new civs or buildings). Add mods that change existing gameplay at the very end, and that should help you find what is causing the problem.

Good luck!
G

Emigration has an edited cityview.lua, which would conflict with the CBP. Not sure how serious of a conflict it would be, but a conflict nonetheless. Also, happiness plays a pretty big role in Emigration, which may not (or may, not sure) work well with the happiness overhaul from the CBP.

Also, I'm pretty sure Ethnic Units and R.E.D conflict. It's not something that would cause a crash, but both mods edit the same stuff, so you're really only using one of them anyway.

I am using the CP v55.1, CSD v24, and EUI. I took desert folklore as my pantheon but am not getting any faith from my tiles. You can see in the top right that I'm only getting +1 faith. I've attached a screenshot. This is the first time I've noticed this with the CP, but I know it worked with whoward's DLL v53

Sorry about that. I know precisely what is up– I didn't set the define for that to be unique in the DLL, so the game is looking for a piece of information you don't have. Try dropping this bit of code into one of the 'core' SQL files in the Community Patch, and it should work for now. I'll issue a proper fix in the next version.

Code:
UPDATE Beliefs
SET RequiresResource = 'true'
WHERE Type = 'BELIEF_DESERT_FOLKLORE' AND EXISTS (SELECT * FROM COMMUNITY WHERE Type='COMMUNITY_CORE_BALANCE_RELIGION' AND Value= 1 );

UPDATE Beliefs
SET RequiresImprovement = 'true'
WHERE Type = 'BELIEF_DESERT_FOLKLORE' AND EXISTS (SELECT * FROM COMMUNITY WHERE Type='COMMUNITY_CORE_BALANCE_RELIGION' AND Value= 1 );

UPDATE Beliefs
SET RequiresImprovement = 'true'
WHERE Type = 'BELIEF_DANCE_AURORA' AND EXISTS (SELECT * FROM COMMUNITY WHERE Type='COMMUNITY_CORE_BALANCE_RELIGION' AND Value= 1 );

UPDATE Beliefs
SET RequiresResource = 'true'
WHERE Type = 'BELIEF_DANCE_AURORA' AND EXISTS (SELECT * FROM COMMUNITY WHERE Type='COMMUNITY_CORE_BALANCE_RELIGION' AND Value= 1 );

UPDATE Language_en_US
SET Text = '+1 [ICON_PEACE] Faith from Tundra tiles with improved resources'
WHERE Tag = 'TXT_KEY_BELIEF_DANCE_AURORA' AND EXISTS (SELECT * FROM COMMUNITY WHERE Type='COMMUNITY_CORE_BALANCE_RELIGION' AND Value= 1 );

UPDATE Language_en_US
SET Text = '+1 [ICON_PEACE] Faith from Desert tiles with improved resources'
WHERE Tag = 'TXT_KEY_BELIEF_DESERT_FOLKLORE' AND EXISTS (SELECT * FROM COMMUNITY WHERE Type='COMMUNITY_CORE_BALANCE_RELIGION' AND Value= 1 );

This will make it use the CBP balance version, but I'll make it vanilla in the next version.

Also, this isn't savegame compatible, so caveat downloader.

Whats the exact way of getting just the core patch to work with CSD and Civ IV Diplo?

I just started a game with the latest version - and selected Desert Folklore, and it just Works as normal(all desert tiles), althought the text said it needed improvement.

I'm using cp and CBp and only recommended mods incl civ iv and Csd
Other than that only level 6 barbarian xp and city bombard range from whoward

I don't think I forgot to do anything. :)

Sry about that, mistyped :-) hate my phone sometime.

I just started a new game, well it gives the Faith when there is a ressource on the Dessert Tile, just though it first should be improved, but perhaps i misunderstod the way it should function. Empty desert tiles gives 0 faith as intended.

A bug i found with the settler mod:

First i should mention i only used the following mods: Community patch, Community patch balanced with all features turned off (except the settlers option), Really advanced setup.

The bug:

Start a game with an advanced settler (say a colonist) and a normal settler (This can be done easily via the "Really advanced setup" mod).

Settle the advanced settler first. When you settle the normal settler, he will have too much pop (6 if you settled a colonist, 4 if you settled a pioneer).

Edit: Ancient era start.

Also, when i used another mod (that alters social policies) a policy which gave "FreeFoodBox = 50" (new cities start with 50% food towards their next citizen) combined with the Pioneer / Colonist gave new cities around 90-95% food instead of 50+25=75 or 50+50 =100

Also, off topic but kinda related, why do all the advanced settlers cost only as much as a normal settler?

When you have unhappiness, front end is showing it as a positive bonus to combat. Not sure if its just UI or actual calculation.
