C2C SVN Changelog

@Faustmouse

You sure your at the latest version?

Yeah, as I said, I updated the SVN before I tried to commit. That's what confuses me...
So it's not V31 or V30, it was the latest SVN version for sure.

But when I updated, it looks like the attached picture.

Why are there so many red and yellow dots and not all green?

I hate to say it but the only sure way to fix things is to just delete everything in the folder and then click update. That will download everything again, but just might fix your problem. The down side is it could take a very long time to re-download everything.

EDIT: I just noticed something. Shouldn't your folder be called "Caveman2Cosmos" not "C2C"?

Hmm... I renamed it and updated it, same result. So, I think I have to create a new folder and download it again. I wonder if it works when I use the "https" instead of SVN...

From looking at the "attached" You have 2 folders that do NOT belong there,Trunk and Code, must be moved or deleted.

The hierarchy looks like this (so trunk and code belong, but not at the level you seem to have them):

Code:
code/
    branches
    C2C extra - leaderheads
    C2C extra - long movies
    PDB & DLL Archive
    trunk/
        Assets
        Autolog
        Docs
        PrivateMaps
        Sources
        UserSettings

Depending on what you need you can get the whole thing, just trunk and down, or even just assets and down. Personally I have the whole thing, but for anyone not doing DLL work, or wanting to mess with the 'extra' bits trunk is probably the best starting point.

But doesnt Truck and Code both another copy of C2C in them?? at least mine did??

EDIT: OK for some darn reason, ModDb didnt work, so AGAIN i will have to UPLOAD another copy, this will take 4 hours or so sorry again.

Ehm ok...
Right now I'm downloading everything again, this time in a new created folder.

How do I download only the trunk?

Or better: What should I actually do?

To download only the trunk when you specify the URL to tortoise instead of using:
Code:
https://svn.code.sf.net/p/caveman2cosmos/code
(if you're using https),
use:
Code:
https://svn.code.sf.net/p/caveman2cosmos/code/trunk

@ls612 & SO:
If you've gotta repackage this thing anyhow, give me a few hrs for another update. I'm running the debugger and I've caught a few things-also trying to uproot any potential bug with the captive mechanism which shouldn't take long at all. Would certainly make for a better release - and the xml bugs I've caught have some fairly damaging potential.

Sure, I won't be starting for about 6 hrs anyways.

Ok, done.

Updates
  • Caught a few more tank references to update

  • Fixed a number of critical XML errors found on running the debug dll
And eliminated any concern that there might be a bug in the capture mechanism so far as I can see.
