C2C SVN Changelog

Added Agueybana, a new Arawak leader

Why are you adding him in when he is ALREADY in game?? Besides the stuff you submitted AGAIN has alot wrong with it?? Please start checking your stuff you submit, i am not going to do YOUR work this time, i am going to let DH handle it.

btw Did you do what TB asked you to do and check with him before a commit and post in HIS thread about new units and stuff??????

I have not updated for a couple of days but I don't have a leader by the name of Agueybana in my version.

I could have swore there used to be, but there does not appear to be one in C2C. He is also not in R2R, so back at v24 C2C didn't have him either. For that matter, RoM:AND and regular RoM apparently don't have him either. So I poked around my Mods folder a bit and found that Realism Invictus has him, as does the Extra mod.

He did his part on that once asked to yes. I don't ask that new units not be committed first (I need them to be so I can see the art in the civopedia and base some CC assignments on that.) I'm not going to worry too much about those CCs on new units until just pre-release when I'll be going through and making sure all of the new ones are updated properly there. This is what the tracking thread is for - so I can go through them systematically without having to FIND the undefined ones in the unit lists. If anyone sees one that still needs CCs fleshed out they should report them in that Unit Review thread as well.

@GodEmperor: this is probably not the best place to ask but you're a very good programmer. We seem to have some kind of memory leak issues and this is a region of debugging that I'm entirely unaware of how to go about fixing. Our best programmers are otherwise detained - is there anything you could do to look into what might be causing this? I get the sense there's just something simply wrong that's causing the problem. I do know of one possibility that could answer for it and will be looking to fix that section soon but if it doesn't have anything to do with it then I will really be needing a more advanced programmer to see if they can identify (and perhaps fix) the problem wherever it may be. I really don't think it's just a matter of 'too much content'. But the worst part is I'm not sure how to find out.

Has anyone ran a profiler or on the mod code? There are some good free ones out there that might help find your biggest memory problems as well as your biggest CPU eating functions.

Now that Koshling is gone :( C2C has nobody that knows that much about how to do memory leak stuff, unless YOU know of somebody that knows????

7170 changed artstyles for Aztecs, Cuba, Jivaro, Mexico, Olmec and Zapotec Civs

Wow when did koshling leave? and why?
He's got his hands in other cookie jars for the foreseeable future.

Updates
  • Numerous OOS fixes as discussed on the forum
  • Adjusted pursuit line promo access CCs a bit.
  • Quick fix to what apparently is a much bigger issue with WoC - scouts should now be able to upgrade as recon units as well as hunters rather than only hunters
  • Updated criminal lines so that there is more consistency with free promos
  • Updated Forest based promos with the additional forest types defined
  • Updated Recon CCs on many naval units that should've had it for proper promo access.

EDIT: Update finalized

@T-Brd, Hydro and others
I have to ask, Is it that hard to add the revision #(s) to the Update when you post?

@Joe It depends on how long it takes to do the upload. I usually make a copy of what I type into the SVN as my changes for posting here. I then start posting here before the update has completed if it completes before I have finished making my update comments more accessible to non-programers then I get the update number and add it also. otherwise not.

That's exactly what I do now and I suck at remembering to take note of the rev #. I don't figure I need to though... you can see it just as easily on the Show Log screen. If I needed to know a particular revision I would go there rather than this thread to look for it.

Okay.

Update Rev#7174/7175
(OK, I'll try to remember to put the revision # for y'all.)
  • Fort building adjustments to AI that should make them much wiser about if and when they decide to put a fort inside city boundaries and when to remove it.

  • Barred Barbarian cities from building wonders so as to hopefully cut them off from cultural wonders and other elements they shouldn't be developing. (Unless they've captured one of course.)

SVN7176

Removed empty BonusCommerceModifiers from some of MrAzure's buildings.

Edit:

SVN7176
