Cairo sucks

Cairo and Dubai is two different places. Dubai actively welcomes foreigners (why I think half the population are foreigners). Like Pontiuth said it was practically built as a tourist town. Cairo is an entirely different place to Dubai. Just consider the simple economic factors, for instance. Egypt is not a fabulously rich mega oil magnate state like the UAE. You can't just expect everywhere in the Islamic world to be the same.

It's terrible what happens with your pants and camera stolen and all, but that could happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Don't simply blame it on Cairo :).

Red how did your pants get stolen?

Could you post a scanned image of your visa? Then I'll believe you.

Can you post your Laotian passport?

I would, if I had one. For those that cannot read (ie. you) I've stated time and again that I am a Canadian citizen. As far as I know, it is indeed legal for Canadian citizens to visit other countries, but for the sake of discussion I will consult with the Australian Embassy (as there is no Canadian or UK embassy here) just to make sure. I'll get back to you in two days, as the embassies are not open on Saturdays or Sundays.

We will also need photographic evidence of yourself without pants.

Since he was outside the US I assume pants to mean what they mean outside the US. In which case, ignorance is bliss.

What does it mean outside the U.S?

I cant think of a synonym of pants anyway... They are basically shorts that cover your entire legs.

I know what they are outside the US. But Red Stranger says hes from Alaska, so I assume hes using the US meaning.

Some people spoke English, but they pretend that they don't. I stayed in a "good" hotel, but it was not that good. Someone stoled my video camera and my pants. I complained to the hotel manager about it, but he refused to take responsibility.

i went to USA...none speaked to me in french although Canada has french has offical language...so does this means USA sucks ?! i guess...

we got 500$ stolen in Orlando too by the mexican girl who was making the beds...and guess what. they told us we had no proof...riiiight. it was american express travel check and the dumb girl took some right in the middle so it was easy to spot the stolen numbers.

Did you leave your wallet on your bed or something while they were changing the sheets? Thats just plain moronic. Especially if you left the room.

Interesting question. RS should checkout her posts.

Well, I'm sure if RS was a DL of Commie, Thunderfall would find out pretty quick and squash him/them.

If they have a kid, I think it would cancel each other out, and you'd be left with a chartered accountant
