Capto Iugulum: 1920 - 1939

Russia votes for Novgorod, United Russian Empire for the 1928 Olympics

OOC: “Well boys, I think we can chalk this one up as a victory!” Pedro proclaimed triumphantly. In his pudgy fist, he held aloft Gerbrant’s pocket-watch that Taisho had been accused of stealing. His friends took no notice, as all three had been knocked out by the brawl. The Japanese man, though having taken even more punishment, was still standing and now glowered threateningly towards Pedro. Suddenly, the Brazilian’s vision blurred and he wobbled dangerously. His hand fell onto the only table left standing in the restaurant and stopped himself from falling. Casting a furtive glance at the big brawler, he placed the watch on the table and then in a loud voice proclaimed “I’m going to leave this here; you guys can pick it up when you wake up.” With that, he turned and sauntered out of the bar, before collapsing face first into the gutter from blood loss. Taisho picked up what was now his watch and spit on the three Europeans, then gave Pedro’s unconscious body a swift kick in the groin as he left the bar and headed home.

OOC: Not even close to what happened. Japanese win was a fluke of nature.

OOC: We must have read different updates. The one I read had Japanese still possessing carriers in the Pacific, not to mention a full fleet, whereas the Allies had lost pretty much every ship they had. Now, Brazil is putting up a big "Mission Accomplished" banner on an aircraft carrier on a battleship on a very nice cruiser and turning tail and running home at full steam. But, as a consolation prize, you took Sumatra! But how in the hell are the Allies gonna keep it without a ship to their names in the theater and their shipyards in Europe either under enemy occupation or about to be.

You're right Lucky, you guys were the clear winners in this war. That's why your First Minister just resigned; so he can lead the party! Congratulations!

OOC: It was a fluke, a miracle. I plan on using that exact wording to my benefit. They should not have won, but they did. It is clearly God's blessing for the new Brazilian future. :3

We are amazed by the efficiency and quality of the German infantry and seek permission to adopt/pay to adopt the doctrine of the German army, that we may better secure our islands with our limited population. Please contact us if you deem any offer feasible.

To: Japan
From: New Zealand

We congratulate you on your three glorious victories as a fellow member of the Pacific Concord. (OOC: To anyone who is confused by New Zealand being in the Pacific Concord, this message was originally a request to join, but I was informed we joined at some point the last four years.)

OOC: Well, that went better than it could have. I guess I got some army quality out of it, and I didn't get lose Iceland at least. Man I'm just mad my fleet got savaged, I spent ages on that :p

Despite your claims that you do not support Proletarist rebellions in other nations, you attempted to smuggle supplies to the Copenhagen uprising.

You then attempted to break the blockade instituted around Copenhagen and assaulted the Danish fleet.

Explain yourselves.

To: the Nations of the World
From: Denmark

We thank you for your expressions of support to the legitimate Danish government, and your offers of assistance. With the collective support of the nations of the Earth, the radicalism that is Proletarism can be stopped.

We are not taking loans at this time, due to our inability to repay them in a timely fashion, but any donations to the rebuilding effort are appreciated.

OOC: You saying this is a victory is like Germany claiming that Stalingrad was a victory or the Japanese claiming Midway was a victory.

Actually, the Midway analogy fits rather well.

We congratulate President Manolo Ortiz' election, and his successful maintenance of Nicaragua's democratic government even in the face of a military coup. It is a hope that the stability promised by your party will stick, and spread outwards from your nation.

It is clear that the people of Costa Rica are no longer content with their present government. We call upon General de Todos to step down from his position with dignity, and to hold general elections wherein the people of Costa Rica may choose an acceptable leader.

To: All International Observers interested in Aisuyochi
From: Vinland

I, Statsminister Ole Gudrunsson, would like to speak to all those interested in the war fought in Aisuyochi. The motivations of Vinland and America in invading the Japanese Imperial Colony of Aisuyochi are based on several of the shared goals of our two nations: the removal of extracontinental powers from the new world, the removal of a base for future Japanese aggression against North America, and opposition to dictatorial absolutism. Additionally, we have moved in coordination and cooperation with the nations of the Rhine-Rhone Pact: Netherlands and France-Burgundy in specific, in order to open up a new front against a power which we oppose, for the aforementioned reasons.

We would welcome British aid against this Red "Army," which we are sure are no more than an uncivilized rabble. This revolt must be quashed so that the inevitable march of civilization may continue.
