Don't many of the French states have flags from the first thread, CIEN? I think Normandy already has a flag.

Here is burgundy's flag in EU3. Don't know if that can apply to this game but..
NOTE: Forgot how to make a picture without a link. Sorry.
I prefer the first JK
I wasn't aware of a dependent association with the fleur. I suppose in that case you could just take them out and keep the cour-de-lys. For Orleans, that is.

Whatever floats your highly uneducated boat, bro.
If I wanted to read dated and bias histories, I'd read good ones.
Moderator Action: No need to be rude Lucky.Whatever you say, man. I'm the educated one backed up by every educated person here and in the field of history. Doesn't bother me in the least that you're incorrect, but at least learn to shut your mouth.
Given this, and the fact that Vinland was neutral throughout the Atlantic War/Great War, what would you say were the impacts on Vinlandic religiosity? As I have stated in the past, the (mostly Christian) world as a whole is substantially more religiously influenced than it would have been OTL at this point. There is a key difference as to the reasoning why: The Church (and Protestants) started the century discouraging war and was heavily against the Great War. While this made them unpopular at the time, it did not discredit organized religion to the same degree that the religious support for the OTL Great War did. Similarly actions to combat nationalism have led to more identification with religious institutions than with nationalities in some cases. As for the number of times people go a week, that I could not say, though I suspect in a nation like Russia is at the moment, the Church acts as a vital gathering place and nexus of the nation's communities. Especially considering that for most Russians lifestyle has not really changed in the past hundred years.
As for numbers, I don't track those, beyond some very loose stats per nation.
Another point of interest is that the Church of Vinland (Lutheran) is probably more powerful than any one church in OTL Canada, due to the fact that Vinland's population overwhelmingly follows a single church. Thus, the nation lacks much of the multicultural and multi-religious flavour of early Canada. While Canada's history involved French and Irish Catholics, Anglicans, Presbyterians, Lutherans, and all other various protestant sects having to co-exist in one country, Vinland's religious history is predominately Lutheran, with significantly lesser Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic influences.

WE ARE NOT SO DIFFERENT YOU AND I.![]()

This teenage rebellion really needs to end. Loving Papists is going too far![]()

I think you're interpreting my allcaps as being remotely serious.
While the Vinlandic Lutheran Church is probably more influential than the Anglican Church of Canada around the same time, due to a greater proportion of adherents, its activities have not exactly mirrored those of the Roman Catholic Church.
