@Jehoshua, you meant Chokweland, and actually it's not the strongest. That honor goes to Kongo or South Africa, depending on what geographical location you actually believe Chokweland to be in.
Either way, he did give me the opportunity to call out Africa for the backward black-hole that it is so either way there was no reason not to reply. Might be a useful point for certain former colonial powers to pick up on in the future if they get their houses in order and their player masters forfeit based on recourse to their charges national interest any ingrained IRL anti-colonial principles they have been indoctrinated in and translated into the game
(in fact where it factors in, it is due to other powers competing for influence there)Might be a useful point for certain former colonial powers to pick up on in the future if they get their houses in order and their player masters forfeit based on recourse to their charges national interest any ingrained IRL anti-colonial principles they have been indoctrinated in and translated into the game![]()

This would literally be Vietnam on steroids and a terrible idea.
On that note, has there been a colonial rebellion in the entire history of CI that failed? I can't think of a single case where a colonial rebellion has been defeated since 1830.
Chokweland, which has been renamed Central Africa, is in Central Africa, that is between the regions were Kongo and South Africa are, so we are the strongest regional power.![]()
Well, my army sucks a bit because of the war, but I am building up my forces. Also, I have just bought land from Ovamboland that have given me access to the sea, so I will soon start building my navy.

Chokweland-
Total economy: 22 EP (1 banked)
Manpower: +2 a year (155 banked)
Military: 9 total brigades, 1 Fighter squadron, no navy
International Connections: Brazil (IN THEORY)

I corrected this, but added a note. Brazil was a supporter of Chowkeland. It is hard to know exactly what one is doing when dealing with Christos, however.
On the debate on great powers, I think Britain and Germany are doing a piss poor job of power projection. If I was playing Britain I would never have allowed Brazil or Japan to get as uppity as they are right now. Of course, if you view the current international climate they can't really risk a war with Brazil or Japan if they hope to keep their empire. Germany has done an even worse job than Britain. They had all of Europe united in fear, and legitimacy all but faded with the Burgundy problem, Spain's alliance to Brazil, and the shift in economic policies away from Munich mandate.
Actual influence as far as I can tell goes to Russia, Brazil, and Japan.
On the OOC comments issue in the main thread: I find it incredibly insulting to be picked out about this when the majority of the player base has a hard time understanding the difference between IC and OOC. You have no idea how often I have to point this simple crap out to people. Or how much work I do for this NES behind the scenes.![]()
