Without more information I can't begin to guess. Could you ask me there, so we don't derail the conversation in this thread?

I don't know how else should I describe. Okay Dina (that's the name of the kitty) jumped on my lap so I cuddled with her for a while. She all of a sudden tensed up, gone alert , jumped off and stared directly at me , I stared at her a little bit shocked (what do you see ? I thought) after a minute of staring she jumped right back on my lap. It was really weird .

My understanding is that cats can see ghosts. You probably had a ghost doing something to you and your kitty noticed, then returned when the ghost left.

Last time Nike did that she pounced on an insect that was so small I didn't see it until she pointed it out to me. Then she promptly ate it, and jumped back up for cuddling. Goody Kitty.
