Given my biography, I don't think it could be anything other than the most evil of creatures...the Spider!

I see I see ... missed that ! :D

ok for that ! :)

Question about the deities.
Can we make one up ?
I already made a "biography" of my deity in my head. :) His main shrine would be the very small location i was talking to you about adding ...
The story is almost done in my head, i just need a childhood ... :hmm:

No problem about making up a deity. I only need thir name and realm really (to start-up the story).

Carmen Allright you are my assistant. Ill send you the details of the story when I finish it!

:)

Any one else up for forcing Perfection into the role of token female for being so late?

Also, Raisin Bran, what you mean by Deity realm?

I tought about Perf being the only femeale character ....

And By realm I mean to say its the god of what !

"the name of your god" god of the "whatever you can think of" !

:)

Ah, ok. The geeky side of my brain tells me Sune is the God of beauty (it was the only CG god I could recall ;)). Kind of works for a pretty boy elf.

Name: Glappo, the legendary Insult Comic
Race: Half-Elf
Class: Bard
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral with a slight evil bias
Diety: Hasn't picked one yet, it's on his todo list.

Biography: Woke up in the middle of a field with a bloodied stone nearby and a massive headache an wandering into a nearby town remembering nothing of his previous life. Started making money as an insult comic under the name "Glappo". Decided to go on this trip to see if he couldn't figure out his life before getting hit by a stone.

Oh. Raisin_Bran. What are the deatails about being an NPC. It seems that I'm too late to be a party member, so I'd like to help somehow.

Yes there are a couple of things Ill need.

Like saying what your Deity controls, God of the whatever.

Weapon Proficiencies you would like to have. (some of you did it allready)
Ehlonna's the goddess of the woodlands.

How many proficiencies do I need to pick? Greataxe and sling would be my first two choices, in that order . . .

I hope my deity won't twist things up. He won't seem like the other deities ... :mischief:
I'll PM you his details, his relation to the other gods, the life of his worshipers, the relation of these with other worshipers, and the small-hidden and ONLY shrine to this god. :D (it's not very complicated and there will be plenty of "room" for you to create side-stories and straying from the main quests)
I'll mention in the PM why i am sending it via PM. :crazyeye:

BTW till Ill use edwin's picture for you .... that was the one I was planning to use for my super vilain but ill find another one !

I got Tymora from here.

Do i have to pick spells?

Wow I don't come and check this thread for a day and a half and I ave tons of replies. :)

Ok one by one.

Perfection .... post 1 updated with your character. But im going to ask you to choose a "credible" Deity. :) Use this link to choose one.

And remember that a Bard sucks

Ok, Being a NPC is a Non Playable Character, this means that they are character that make the game advance, You could be a simple commoner with valuable information for the party or a Town Mayor that appoints missions for the party.
Ill finish up the story and Ill appoint you a character. You can also PM me with a NPC idea to add a sub quest for the party that fits in the story. But wait to see the big Plot before being a NPC.

Huh... I really don't know how many proficiencies to appoint by classes. Ill fire up Baldur's gate 2 this week and start making your characters and ill tell you then. Maybe Carmen can answer you on this one for a level 7 character.

No worry, as long that it dosen't look like a burnt grilled cheese. I allready tought of something for you Deity and your Location. :)
Remember that subquests/side stories make up more than half the fun in a D&D game. Getting to the boss fast and easy is not great fun.

I think Edwin is the most liked character in BG, no wonder you took him. :D
and yes you will have to pick spells .... like Cata will have to pick some. The number of spells you can learn will be decided by your Intelligence. For the clerics its going to be with wisdom.

___________________________________________

OK, the Story should be ready by next weekend.
Ill try to generate your characters Friday, remember that I will try to have the best stats possible for your characters, nothing below 80 for all combined stats, I will concentrate the higher number of points possible for the essential class stats e.g.: Dexterity for thiefs, strenght for fighters, wisdom for clerics and intelligence for mages.

Carmen I'll PM you the story before posting it here so we could set up everything. Also I need to know if you will be taking care of all the fights (I would really appreciate it :D) Like I said in the firsts posts you will be in control of what happens in combat with a few guidelines from the players.
I don't want you guys to die during simple combat because it would be boring but be aware that if you guys take on a biggie ennemy without the proper experience level you are going to be decimated. :D

@Truorian ..... according to your biography your character should be Chaotic good

:)

You're allowed a diety 1 step away :D

EDIT: If you're refering to his altruism, he also kills people.

That is why you are Chaotic.

Born in the human sector of Waterdeep to a pair of outcast elves, Ian got used to his status as an outsider from a young age. After spending his childhood watching his human peers age and die, he left Waterdeep at the young age of sixty, never to return.

He wandered Faerun for about ten years and gradually settled into a rogue's life, use his charm and natural agility to become a charming stranger by day and a benevolent thief by night. Ian's willingness to resort to lethal methods is offset by his benevolence towards those in unfortunate circumstances. He has never forgetten the poverty of his youth and will often go out of his way to help any poor or needy people he meets on his travels.

Of course, he is in no way adverse to making a pretty penny and cannot turn down an adventure, which is why he has joined forces with the party.

The bolded part makes you good. :)
