CFC Empires

What I mean is that in RFC there is some code allowing the civs to be attached to there UP and for the game to use it. How easy would it be to move it into a non-RFC game?

Oh I think you misunderstand how UP's work. It's not that these UP's are attached to these civs inherently, per se, but rather that a precondition of having each UP is that you be the civ that has that UP. So I just change the if statement from, for example, civ == America to civ == hoplitejoe, or whatever your name is gonna be.

TL;DR or too technical for me: Yes, that's a piece of cake.

Genero UP: The Power of Timezones: effect unknown, just let me think of something...

yeah, OK, I could use some help :D

I just had an idea for a mod...

how, though, to implement it?

Sorry, I didn't make what I was suggesting clear:

Give every unit a Flank II promotion, even if the type of unit is ineligible for Flank II.

I like that :D

You can edit the calendar in the xml (possibly might require python) to display whatever, including day/ night if you so desire.

What is a time of unit?

I assume he means type :p

Huh, i have an idea...

Austria UP :
The Power of Industry
Every Coal or Iron tile gets 1 bonus hammer after discovery of steam power.

How does that sounds? i could make something different, but thats just what first came to mind...everyone that played with me at least once know how i love production. It could be underpowered, or probably very overpowered...i must think some more...

Also when is it possible that we are going to start putting more than 1 UU in each civ? ;)

If the UP idea comes through...

Power of Imports: Units require no resources after entering the Industrial Age.

Interesting idea for a power...have you tough of imported goods giving + gold? :)

Well, considering that on a world map, my civ is on an island with little resources, imports giving resources sounds like it would work. It'd probably be less powerful on a random map, and we should probably exclude Uranium from that.

I feel that the problem would be that you would already own resources like Oil, Aluminium, etc... after industrial age, thanks to that power.

But why not a naval power? If you're an England, what about less ship building time and a nice ship UU? :p or something to help with colonies?
There are lots of possibilities, but i suggest thinking about an history about your civ, its culture, the population way of living, and basing a power in that.

Power of the Great Navy: All naval units start with Drill I, Combat I, and Sentry.

Is it possible that you guys can create minor nations that lack things like UU, UB, UP...?
i would like to have some in Europe to represent Spain, France, Netherlands/Burgundy, Portugal, Poland...
but by that i don't mean 1 or 2 countries, but a lot, with LH and all that that can engage in diplomacy :D (an alternative would be putting the Civ IV civilizations back, but is it possibe to make them not selectable at random maps? i would like it for the scenarios only)
