The votes were: Cirith Ungol Lynch: Nintz: 2 (Secret Scribe, Visorslash) topsecret: 2 (Autolycus, topsecret)
Not voting 4: robbiecon(1), MartinLuther(1), Darth Caesar(1), Askthepizzaguy (1) (OOC: the number is the number of votes in a row that this player missed)
(OOC: unlike the last update, this one is not from the book, but purely my own work. Radbug is an NPC who appears for the purpose of write ups, nothing else)
IC: The meele amongst the orcs was soon interrupted, as one of them shouted from the top of the tower:
Radbug: Stop it, all of you! The Prisoners are out!
Gorbag: See, I told you that the local garrison was incompetent!
Shagrat: If it weren't for you and your mutiny....
Gorbag: Something HAS slipped. There's a Great Albai (OOC: Elf) Warrior here, and he's come to save his little servant! The same one that put a spike through Her Ladyship!
Shagrat: Don't talk nonsense rebel scum, the elf didn't care to save his companion before, he won't do it now, typical of them. Nonetheless, we have a spy to find.
Accusations rapidly flew. Choxorn and classical_hero accused each other, and soon fought, since surely, the other was the tiny Halfling, and surely, he could rip a Halfling apart. After the dust settled, classical_hero lay dead. He was a:
Spoiler:
Minas Morgul Orc:
You are an orc from the city of the Nazgul, Minas Morgul, sent here to supplement the local garrison. It was quickly made obvious to you how incompetent and pathetic they are. They could not even keep two tiny, unarmed prisoners in check! As such it is clear that they do not deserve the prisoner’s valuable armor.
The Ungol orcs were no less disunited. Nintz and topsecret accused each other, and went to battle, but the two combatants seemed almost equally matched. Neither could strike the other, and eventually they both gave up, for now, at least.
While the rest were distracted, SouthernKing and SecretScribe opportunistically went for the armor. SouthernKing emerged victorious with the spoils, while SecretScribe emerged defeated without a head.
He was:
Spoiler:
Cirith Ungol Orc:
You are an Orc from the garrison of Cirith Ungol and it was clear to you from the start that these Morgul-scum were up to no good, so when their rebellion ruined an easy capture of two little prisoners, with shiny mail coats that the big bosses should have no interest in, it was obvious which side to choose for the glory of… My armor, back of Morgul scum! He Knifed Me! Get Him!
Congratulations SouthernKing, you have received the Mithril shirt:
Spoiler:
Mithril shirt:
Valuable armor of mithril, light yet durable, and the subject of the squabble between the orcs, this shirt has helped get Frodo through this far and will give whoever bears it a better chance in any battle.
Effect: +2 Strength to bearer. Whoever wins the battle on day one will get this item.
wait, sorry, Nintz, your post was made as I was writing the update. Since I never wrote a vote lock, this changes things and I must now account for it.
OOC: Night 1 will end Wednesday around 4:00 PM Pacific Time.
Sorry for the late update and failure to lock votes. I cannot guarantee that I will update on time, but votes will be locked next time, before I start the write up. Nintz, your vote is valid.

1: The vote tied between Nintz and topsecret, so per the Battle/Lynch: section:
Beware that if there is a tie in voting (for lynch or item, but not battler), the tied players will battle to the death, in the same way as the main battle is handled.
