Cirith Ungol NOTW [Game Thread]

I was wondering that myself. 3 votes means I had the majority. I should be dead. spaceman was very specific to say it changes nothing...therefore I can only assume something or someone blocked me from getting lynched. It's not like I have any special items or abilities, so I can't have saved myself. I can exchange role PMs if someone really wants to verify it, though it won't be anything special.

Is there ever a Mafia role that blocks lynching? Too new as a player to really know if that could be viable. It would be a really weird situation though.
 
There are roles that do pardon a lynch but usually it's a one time ability... I have no idea why anyone would use that on Day 1 to save a regular townie (which is what you're claiming to be, right?)

At first I thought it was part of what spaceman said about solving the problem that one of the factions is in the majority at game start but then I noticed that your faction was actually the one with more players in it...

It is a very strange thing, especially given the passage I quoted from spaceman. This sentence from the OP suggests, at least to me, that there is nothing random involved in the lynch (unlike the battles)... I'll keep an eye on you... You know, matter of fact I wouldn't mind lynching you again just to see if it goes through... I have no say in it anyway though. Your faction partners should take a good look at you.
 
Yeah, I'm just a regular townie. Could someone explain (or link) what a double vote is though?
 
I know I'm dead, so I hope I won't get zapped for providing this definition. A double vote is an additional, often secret, vote that a person has for the purposes of determining the outcome of a lynch vote or other vote. Sometimes this vote is automatically in the same direction as their public vote, other times the additional vote can be used separately via PM to the GM.
 
I think the problem is that there is a lot of inactives. People simply aren't paying attention or logging on. Luckily there is an extra day to debate things this time around. That should help a little.
