Hey guys!

I quite enjoy this thread so I made a big spreadsheet compiling all the cities said in this thread since its inception.

Here it is, the Cities of the World Compendium!

I organized it based on a few criteria.
1. The cities themselves are sorted by what modern-day country they are in. If the city was in antiquity, then it is placed in the country where it was contained. If the post had a spelling error, I tried my best to guess what the city was (there were at least 2 I couldn't figure out). If there were identically named cities in multiple countries and the country of origin was not specified, I just chose the country based on some criteria (usually city size, or city most associated with that name).
2. There is a count to the left of each country which is the number of unique cities stated in the thread.
3. If the city was repeated, I just put a number beside the city for the number of times it was repeated. If the city was repeated with a different translation, I chose the translation that most closely matched the one used in the country of origin. I only used translations that were used in the thread.

I opened the spreadsheet for editing, so feel free to correct any errors or add new cities from the thread. Please don't change any translations since I only used translations stated in the thread (even grossly Anglicized ones :p ).

Here's some user awards I just made up :) -
Best Attempt at Being Funny - Zach - jokingly said Atlantis, which is a real city (of course it is), so I had to add it.
Most Hilarious Spelling Error - Rackham - said "Erkuü". If you search this in Google, there are only three results, one being this thread.
Most Obvious Bias - ales_, Bair_the_Normal, and baseballpie - Representing Belarus, Japan, and the United States. Special award goes to baseballpie who contributed the most cities from a single country. :)
