isn't that bad i've seen marborzir and quil18 do the same.. Eureka bonusses are just to powerfull they need to nerve it.

Olso why doesn't Ai upgrade their units still see some warriors and classical era units
No they need to make techs more expensive...or make some of the Eurekas more difficult

I know, and I agree. Was just hoping that was fixed by now.

Tech advancement is rapid but it hardly makes a difference when the AI doesn't use contemporary units. At least they are able to build Industrial-Modern wonders.

This is what I expected. Once the mid-late game kicks in, it's all passing turns, and the game sort of casually meanders towards a science, culture or score victory.

Wait, Russia declared war on the Aztecs. So they lose their northern cities to the Aztec hordes, and their largely nonexistent military just dies.

Except, the AI programmer just knows this war won't accomplish anything. And has never seen a domination victory from AIs, or even anything close (3 capitals fall max) Yet, again, I'm puzzled why this hasn't been tweaked.

Huh, so much for my prediction. Apparently the AI doesn't do anything, even at war.
 
I'm not watching the stream right now, but oddly enough, it'd seem that units are on par with the game years (knights in the 11th-12th century) but tech progress is all out of whack.
 
Don't you just love those skyscrapers surrounded by catapults?
 
This is just confirming what I had feared with the preview build. Industrial and Modern era stuff comes too cheap and too early. Definitely going to need to be adjusted with a balance patch or modded.

Something very interesting also: Mohenjo Daro is a new City State we've never seen before!
 
Or they just need to calibrate the turns/years ratio, make time pass faster so 1410 now is 1900 and calibrate the rest.
Im sure there will be some patches!
 
The AI programmer has never seen the AI go for a domination victory in any of his test games. Oh, dear.

And says the AI thinks joint wars are pointless

and we have only seen one city captured and then handed straight back
