Yes, looks like this is correct. Unfortunately I haven't played all the other civs with new palace style so, no screenshots yet. =)

Had a lot of time to do nothing today, so I did something:

Civ VI - Medieval.png

Afaik these are all the palaces in the game right now.

Kongo -- Egypt -- Australia -- India/Scythia/Arabia/Persia -- Mongolia -- Scotland -- Mapuche -- England
Greece/Rome/Macedon -- Nubia -- France/Germany/Norway -- Aztecs/Brazil -- Poland -- Netherlands -- Zulus -- Sumer
Spain -- China -- Japan -- Khmer/Indonesia -- Russia/Georgia -- Korea -- Cree -- America

I'm madly in love with Firaxis for doing this + actually diversifying the city art styles used by the civs . The city-states are really lacking, but I'm assuming it's because a lot of them have civs waiting for them in the future. :crazyeye:

It’s a shame they didn’t give Brazil a unique palace. That would seem to be the most glaring mis-match.

Well, the majority seems to like classical (rome/america) and far eastern (japan, china) architectures & I agree.

That’s really wonderful. If you still have the file, could you re-upload part of the East Asian palace?

I think it will be a pleasing candy eye to see palaces of China Korea Japan and Mongolia side to side.

Is this what you mean?

I'm absolutely dominating this page rn but here's some more day/night ones using Kineticam:

That's simply amazing, @Kheznik , thank you!
Seeing them side by side made it easier to compare. It's a bit interesting that they choose to redo Mongolia's houses with Chinese's instead of creating yurts..

...and I wonder why the lanterns are green except for Japan? I'm Asian and never really sees green lantern, not even in this festivities of New Year lol. It's either red or none at all.

..also, anybody recognize the flag on top of Khmer's palace?

why didn't they give the spanish palace to brazil? it's a much better option than what they have now. nevermind they're probably going to add a unique one next time, or maybe give them the portuguese palace.
also i hope next time they'll give germany and norway unique palaces, maybe something inspired by the reichstag for germany and something more viking for norway

Who are they all
I quite wonder how could look palace for a Native American Civ...
...or Mongolia...
...Zulus...
...Indonesia...
...Portugal...
...Carthage...

...well, there are many Civs lacking, and many space for unique palaces to be added.

Ornate castle for Bohemian palace!

It is very weird that Brazil shares the palace with the Aztecs. Brazil has no cultural or historical link with the Mesoamerican cultures.

A colonial-style building would be more appropriate, like this one of the 18th century:

Or similar to this museum:

I like the second one!

So the Hungarian Palace is inspired by What?

Has anyone spotted the Maori Palace? I'm guessing/hoping they get a unique one.

And Canada's Palace is obviously the Chateau Frontenac.

The unique palaces are a minor yet pleasing feature in Civ 6. I'm interested in knowing what real life buildings inspired these palaces and if anyone has any idea to please let me know.
