I find Germany's theme to be so incredibly boring, all build up and no pay off with no real difference in tone between the eras. Meanwhile I love how Russia's theme evolves so drastically from a rather upbeat and peppy jig to a very somber and foreboding overture to a powerful patriotic chant. It gives the one song 4 very distinct tones which reminds me of Civ 5's War/Peace Theme system which I still kind of miss.
