I find Germany's theme to be so incredibly boring, all build up and no pay off with no real difference in tone between the eras. Meanwhile I love how Russia's theme evolves so drastically from a rather upbeat and peppy jig to a very somber and foreboding overture to a powerful patriotic chant. It gives the one song 4 very distinct tones which reminds me of Civ 5's War/Peace Theme system which I still kind of miss.

I should probably preface it with my voting criteria. Personally I don't have themes that I find so bad they drive me crazy. As a result, I will vote nay for themes that I find completely forgettable and never made me go like "Oh, that sounds sweet". Based on the previous elimination threads, I notice these themes tend to be left in "the 20 club" for way longer than they deserve.

Also, I actually have Civ 6 themes as my playlist at work - so I had plenty of time to listen to them all and get equally sated by the tunes. (and then I proceed to play Civ 6 with my own music...)

Russia (Kalinka)- 18+1=19 Now, I know people will eventually gang up against this theme with the following explanation: "I'm sick and tired of hearing Kalinka a million times in my games." Truth is, any theme will get annoying if RNG rolls them too often. However, you can't deny the fact that this is one of the most memorable themes in this Civ iteration, and t has one of the most epic Infustrial and Atomic versions. Also, it is the only theme that has human choir. So not yet, Kalinka, you are in this thread to stay.

Since Scarborough Fair is no longer on the margin, I'll vote for this. I'm not saying it's as good as Raga Asa war, but Gandhi's Civ 6 theme is really solid imo. Great soaring song that evolves from a modest melody, without being as tedious as Mvemba's theme.

Germany just can't catch a break with me. I hated their theme in Civ 4, thought they had the second or third most boring war and peace themes in Civ 5 (only Brazil's absolute snoozefest of a peace them and Morocco's ear destroying wailer on both their themes were less bearable than Germany's themes for me), and in Civ 6 they once again find themselves with the most drab and dry themes of the lot. I know that Germany is more known for its mathematicians than its musicians but I know for a fact they must have SOMETHING better than this somewhere between Bavaria and Schleswig-Holstein. I swear I'll pick someone else next time I just... really hate Germany's themes throughout several generations of Civ and I was really hoping Civ 6 could change my mind.
While I'm still a bit on the butthurt side about yet more Hellenic civs being thrown into the game this early I will concede that Alex's theme is good. In fact it's very good. No matter the era it's very lively and expressive and switches effortlessly between chipper and furious, refined and brutal. Very fitting for the great conqueror and spreader of Greek culture.
