Yes, I’m a hater. I just can’t stand this. It’s so repetitive and aggravating.
France (Tourdion: Quand je bois du vin clairet) = 18
Germany (Ich hab die Nacht geträumet) = 12 (11+1)
Germany’s could be my favorite theme of all these here. I never get tired of it. But it looks like I might be in a minority. :undecide:

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 18
Arabia (Üsküdara) = 21+1=22 Sounds very majestic. Great pieces of music, like Arabia themes in Civ V. It's good enough for upvote and (I hope) surviving into top ten (even if it's too soon to talk about it).
    Australia (Waltzing Matilda) = 18
    Aztec (?) = 17
    Brazil (Brejeiro) = 17

    Rome (Magna Mater) = 17
    Russia (Kalinka) = 19
    Scythia (?) = 13
Spain (Recuerdos de la Alhambra) = 12-3=9 - It sounds too much like a music from romantic film to me. Civ V Spain themes were much better.
    Sumeria (Hurrian Hymn 6) = 21

And I have a question, what will happen, when some new civ will be introduced in game? Will its music be added to this elimination thread?

Buying England one extra hit point. I'm not a fan of the early version of the tune, but the soaring version that appears in the Atomic age is majestic. There are others on this list that surely deserve to be knocked out first.

Sorry, Australia, I can't stand any version of your song in any era.

High on the Aussie theme for most of the same reasons I am low on England.

Scythia (?) = 10 + 1 = 11. This song in the ancient and industrial theme is so beautiful, I am a total sucker for the duduk. Blasphemy if it should go down before some of these others.
Spain (Recuerdos de la Alhambra) = 9
Sumeria (Hurrian Hymn 6) = 21 - 3 = 18. Very forgettable in all eras, flavorless as a water popsicle in my opinion.

Really tough, a lot of good choices and not many bad. A few truly Epic pieces like Russia Atomic or America Industrial.

Still, the peace themes for Byzantium, Arabia and Shoshone in Civ V still are head and shoulders better while the War themes of England, Poland, and Portugal were phenomenal.

As promised, a break from your regularly scheduled Germany bashing. I considered downvoting Norway since their theme is also sleep inducing but I felt it'd be a bit too obvious, so instead I shifted my sights not at what was most boring, but least epic. Brazil and Australia immediately come to mind, it's very hard to imagine I'm building a civilization to stand the test of time when I'm listening to glorified dance music that's way too fast and upbeat, but at the very least I admit they're good songs on their own just not thematically appropriate. Then I listened to India's again. Not only does it lack any sense of grandeur or epicness it's got a terrible beat in the earlier versions and even in the industrial and atomic era it sounds like elevator music in an Indian Hotel. Not an impressive or even well made song.

While nowhere near as good as the wonderful Vive La Quince Brigada from Civ 5 (especially the swashbuckling war theme) it's still not a bad theme and I don't think it deserves to tank this early. It's got a very thematic beat and good tempo, just a shame that it has so much build up for what is ultimately a very flat crescendo.

There's no rule like that, though I wonder if there should be. Helps prevent a vocal minority from overriding things. How would people feel about making it so that you couldn't vote for the same theme twice in a row?

America (Hard Times Come Again No More) = 18
    Arabia (Üsküdara) = 22
    Australia (Waltzing Matilda) =13

    Aztec (original composition) = 14 (17-3)
Firaxis has always struggled to come up with original music for the Aztecs. Civ 6's version makes me wish that Firaxis had stuck with Tenochtitlan Revealed, or even the Civ 5 version.

    Brazil (Brejeiro) = 14
    China (Jasmine Flower) = 14
Egypt (El Helwa Di) = 17
    England (Scarborough Fair) = 7
France (Tourdion: Quand je bois du vin clairet) = 18
Germany (Ich hab die Nacht geträumet) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 23

    India (Vaishnav Jana to tene) = 7 (6 + 1)
Going to put Scarborough Fair and this on equal footing, since I like both themes and would rather not see either eliminated before Spain or Scythia. Indian music is unlike music from anywhere else in the world.

    Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 14
    Kongo (Banaha) = 18
    Macedon (Tino Mori) = 21

Spain (Recuerdos de la Alhambra) = 10

That's alright, IMO. We will run into issues later on, though, when the are very few choices left.

EDIT: Previous poster corrected the score.

Egypt (El Helwa Di) = 17
England (Scarborough Fair) = 8 (7+1) (this song is still my favorite so cannot let it go down)
France (Tourdion: Quand je bois du vin clairet) = 18
Germany (Ich hab die Nacht geträumet) = 13
Greece (Epitaph of Seikilos) = 23
India (Vaishnav Jana to tene) = 7
    Japan (Itsuki Lullaby) = 14
    Kongo (Banaha) = 18
    Macedon (Tino Mori) = 21
    Norway (Gjendine's Lullaby) = 17
    Persia (Kereshme + Reng-e Shalakhu) = 22
    Poland (Hej ide w las) = 22
Rome (Magna Mater) = 14 (17-3) Pretty boring
    Russia (Kalinka) = 17
    Scythia (?) = 11
Spain (Recuerdos de la Alhambra) = 10
    Sumeria (Hurrian Hymn 6) = 18

Note: Unless posted by the thread originator in main post, I am assuming we can still vote the same way twice in a row. IMO no need to add new rules as by game design and virtue of math (-3 vs +1, and vote at most once per day), most disliked ones will get eliminated no matter what

Still pulling for Scythia's brooding theme; and still well over Waltzing Matilda/the McDonald's safety video! (For those who do not know what that is, check out the video at the bottom of this page: https://forums.civfanatics.com/thre...y-create-australia-in-civilization-vi.611151/ )

England's is clearly the worst in my opinion, but I'll give them a break this time and knock Brazil down instead for a shallow, overly cheery tune.

This is one of my favorites, truly beautiful, and I hope we can keep it around a little longer.

Not sure why people are piling on my favorite tune. But I hate when Russia's briefly interrupts something else.
