1.2.0 is almost here! Here are the major highlights of what's coming, including:​

  • Updates to resources
  • Food & growth rebalance
  • Multiplayer teams
  • Less frequent natural disasters
  • Repair all
  • Upgrade all units packed
  • Reduced town specialization notifications
  • More wonder visibility
  • Tile highlights for Great People
  • Research queuing
  • Bridges in towns
  • One More Turn

Oo, new icons in the tech/civic trees. Seems like houses are settlement limits raises, hexagons are improvement yield increases, people are combat strength increases and the scroll is a policy slots increase. Will def make navigating what comes with each tech/civic easier.
Edit: Jumped here as soon as I saw this, tech tree later on in the video has way more :P
 
Some nice QoL updates there.
 
Love everything about this update, especially the resource changes and those helpful icons in the tech and civic trees. I’m a sucker for that kinda thing. Can’t wait to dive in as soon as I can.
 
Love seeing Tin and Hardwood finally getting their due as resources.

Everything I wanted a couple of months ago when I paid the price, apart from plenty much more than that.
 
No mods. Waiting for Steam Workshop

I originally thought I would too, but I would have quit playing without them and it could be months or even a year before they get the workshop up. They're dead simple to use, and even easier now that some incredible person made the CivMods application. They all come through CivFanatics.
