They could reveal a Mexican leader without doing a full First Look, like they did with Himiko.
Himiko was in Nintendo promotion, not FiraxisThey could reveal a Mexican leader without doing a full First Look, like they did with Himiko.
We've had Chola and Abbasid (Exploration) before the last Antiquity one (Persia).I was wondering if there is any chance we could see a modern civ or leader spoiled next week before the exploration ones are all done. Shawnee and Tecumseh were an era ahead (its pre order extras of course) and I don't recall if we got any exploration civs or leaders before Antiquity was done.
And that means they have to do a First Look if they reveal them?Himiko was in Nintendo promotion, not Firaxis
This means we'll have full Himiko reveal by Firaxis eventually. And that means they have to do a First Look if they reveal them?
Yes.This means we'll have full Himiko reveal by Firaxis eventually.
My point is what Firaxis didn't do it with any of Civ7 civs or leaders yet. So, I really doubt it...Yes.
My point is: Firaxis can just say, "Hey, here's a Mexican leader." during the holiday, just like how Nintendo said, "Here's a Japanese leader." And they can get around to doing a First Look for the leader when it suits them.
While it's fun to see rare leaders, I expect William as he's a clear selling point and didn't appear in civ games before. For the Norman associated leader (which is my guess for today), I’m hoping it’s not the obvious William the Bastard. I’d prefer Edward III or Richard the Lionheart
There is a chance, they did reveal some explorations before fully completing the Antiquity ones. Wouldn't put it as that likely because they have been pretty tight lipped on modern so far, but you may be right with the holiday.I was wondering if there is any chance we could see a modern civ or leader spoiled next week before the exploration ones are all done. Shawnee and Tecumseh were an era ahead (its pre order extras of course) and I don't recall if we got any exploration civs or leaders before Antiquity was done.
I bring this up because next week is the Mexican revolution memorial, it would be a good oportunity to reveal something related to Mexico , and I find the nonchalant way they "spoiled" Mexico in the last stream to maybe not be just a coincidence? (they could just hide that info easily, they've done it before)
of course this is all assuming it's a Mexican revolutionary leader and Firaxis is aware of the date.
There is probably not an specific Norman leader in the base game, with Machiavelli most likely being a leader to get a free unlock of the civ.For the Norman associated leader (which is my guess for today), I’m hoping it’s not the obvious William the Bastard. I’d prefer Edward III or Richard the Lionheart
Theres an off chance he could be revealed alongside the French. But I would consider his chances of appearing lower than it was. There is probably not an specific Norman leader in the base game, with Machiavelli most likely being a leader to get a free unlock of the civ.
Probably one of those two. There is a non-zero chance that they throw in a Mesoamerican leader with the Inca, but I find that to be a very small chance.Today is either going to be Amina and Songhai or Kamehameha and Hawaii, more likely the former.
