Updated to 1.29b2 , problem persists.

It sounds like there's no FOW graphics, or they are not active. How did you install the Snoopy mod? If you simply replaced the /Art/Terrain/ folder in your Civ3 application then you may have deleted the relevant files. Installing mods into vanilla CIv3 requires some care to ensure that you only replace files, not folders, which is why I developed the drag and drop mod installer.

Check whether there are any files with names like FogOfWar.pcx, FogOfWar_1.pcx, FogOfWar_2.pcx in the Civ3/Art/Terrain/ folder. If not, re-install Civ3 and try again

Thinking it'd be fun to revisit an old gaming obsession, on a whim I ordered Civilization Complete from Aspyr. Should I update using the posted patch too?

I'm using an ibook G4, 10.3.9

I didn't and everything works fine for me, except application switching. The beta patch is supposed to help with application switching and reduce system resource use, but in my case it didn't help much and caused the unit motion to jerk. And I, too, was using 10.3.9 on an iBook G4.

I'm sure other folks have a different opinion.
