It was a last minute thing and only for that turn - RB's done something to his back and asked me to take it for him. The utmost truth is that all I needed to do was hit the 'end turn' button, which I did seeing as he was the last person to make it go over to the next turn.

Sorry I did not mention it in-thread but all Kan said is true. I was not able to take my turn yesterday due to a back injury.
I just got back from the chiroprator, all is good now .... I was that close from being put on a injury break.
This was exeptionnal and be reminded that me and kan are allied since the begining of the game.
Please, don't ever do that again. No matter how close you are, one could always backstab you, plus that situations could make you reconsider the alliance. I'm usually not much of a nagger, but this is actually quite fundamentally wrong.

It should not happen again. It was a once in a gametime event
The civstats webserver (and notifications) appears to be down. AFAIK the game is still up, so please take your turns as normally, and whoever's login is the last for the turn (bringing up the next turn), please post here and let us know.

I'm going on a cruise next week, so starting this Saturday 2/10 through Sunday 2/18 I will be completely disconnected from the internet (or at least definately from Civ).
I'll be trying to find a sub for this game over the next day or two. I'll post when I have one and who it is.

civphillz's city of York was captured by the forces of BCLG and renamed Yoke. It's people then overthrew BCLG and placed themselves in the care of the Soviet Union. But BCLG is demanding the city back. Why not just let me have it, it's only 1 pop and it's people are all soviet anyways? Unless your trying to start a diplomatic incident as an excuse for war - in which case i'd advise all other civs to monitor their borders with BCLG carefully.
