Civilization V: The Mobile Game!

Is there a target release date? I'd rather that polish it and release a refined product, so I'm OK if it takes a while, but was wondering...

Images from MobInfo.pl. It looks awesome :)

Release date: August 2011 (not confirmed)

Is the start post updated? I could've sworn I've seen those images before?

Maybe it are bigger versions of previous images?
Edit:
Ah, I was confused with Nevermind's post here.
Indeed, smaller versions of those images, that's why |I thought I'd seen them before.
But bigger is always better, of course :)

Yeah, images are the same, but in much much better quality, aren't they? Worth an update)

Really August ? If it was right it would be wonderful thing :goodjob:

Just the thing which lacked on mobile devices...

EDIT : screens have 10" size ! Any clue for an iPad version or an other trademark tablet version ?

screenshots are obviously fake.

1. first image has different resolution
2. images have different resolutions, too large for non-retina, too small for retina.
3. horrible spacing
4. you can see stray edges

Has anyone caught wind of whether this will be available on Android?

From what I have read, it will. It should work for tablets too.

Is it just me, or do the unit icons just serve to confuse the eye as to which hexes have units in them?

It is a bit odd to see artillery in 1400 BC and Bombers in 1240 BC I must admit.

Don't see any argument why it should not be real screenshots...

Besides that this sure never ever happened in any civ game, i'm pretty sure that they played a real game to give some example screenshots ^^.

It really looks like a board game now.
