Does anybody have any information about the Digital Deluxe version for the Mac?

Hi guys,
Are we sure that mid-2012 15" MacBook Pros fail the requirements? Mine has 2.6GHz processor, 8GB ram, Intel HD 4000 & GeForce GT 650M?
Seems to me that would meet the criteria?
Thanks a lot
I think Xyth was just trying to be extra cautious in his suggestions. I have one and I've preordered, so I'll let you know.

That does meet minimum requirements, I must have misread something when compiling the list. Shall update it, cheers.
Hey everyone, found this thread after my heart jumped for joy that CIV VI was coming to Mac so soon after launch. Things quickly came crashing down though after I came across specs, and reading that Mac Mini wouldn't meet requirements.
I just need to check, one last time, before I resign myself to having to find another way to play CIV VI this year: What about the "Late 2014 Mac Mini"?
Specs are: 2.6 GHZ intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel Iris 1536 MB (not a Pro).
What would happen if I tried to run it? I know it's speculation for now until it's released but would impact if I pre-order this game or not. Thanks anyone who can help!
Thanks Xyth what you're saying makes a lot of sense. I've got a laptop refresh at work coming up in a few days - might push for a machine that can run CIV VI on it. Famous last words for my career maybe!GPU and CPU (It's a dual core i5, needs to be quad core) are definitely below the minimum. As to how it might run (or not), only Aspyr knows for sure. In my experience their specifications tend to be neither too lax nor too draconian, but bear in mind that these aren't recommended specifications - they are minimums. If I were you I'd be looking into getting a different computer to play Civ6 on, one that has a dedicated (non-Intel) GPU.
Yes, I got it pre-loaded too. I had problems getting the Steam client to run. First of all it showed that it was downloading updates, then quit without warning. When I tried again I just got a message saying that it couldn't be opened. I reinstalled the app and it ran OK this time.
What you are getting is more a placeholder than a pre-load. Aspyr is doing the best they can but they may not have something available day one.
Good thing my wife has a Windows laptop. This way, I can start playing right away, and not wait for Aspyr to finalize the port. What you are getting is more a placeholder than a pre-load. Aspyr is doing the best they can but they may not have something available day one.
If you have Win 10 already, why not use bootcamp? In the long run, much easier? If we don´t get it on release day, I´m using VMware free 30 day trial to run Windows 10 and the game. You gotta have your back up plan, don´t ya?
