No game mode or scenario, unless we are still getting them as an easter egg

No Julius Caesar, unless as a bonus later. The chinese dude had been doing localization for texts so I am pretty sure Julius exists..

As I understand it, they have a general rule of "nothing newer than 100 years", with already established characters from previous games, like Gandhi, being the exception.

Haile Selassie in Civ 5 (whose reign lasted until 1974) is the big exception to this that I can think of, but yeah, I think it's a general rule to not pull leaders from living memory too much.

Great list! What about personas?

Some ideas:

Opposite Day Ghandi: Fully embrace the nuke meme and make him super aggresive.
Younger Pericles: Have him lean into his general side more
Post-Liberator Bolivar: Have a leader have a unique way to play with rebellion and Free Cities after conquest
Bethrothing Barbarossa: A more diplomatic approach to his conquests

I have every dlc, and bought the Frontier Pass, and I'm unsure if I have Anthology itself, can't buy it, because I own everything in the library. Hopefully it'll work as intended...

I own everything in the game except the actual NFP (I bought everything individually). My steam says I can "buy" the Anthology for 0.00. When I click to purchase, it says I can't. But it lists the NFP as being for sale for $14.96. What am I missing?

Actually, isn't the Anthology free if you own all the associated DLC already?

Talked to a friend on discord, he said "That person needs to buy Anthology, which will be free on Steam due to him owning everything already."

It displays as €0.00 with Teddy and Catherine in the list yet if you try to acquire it you get an error message. I've contact Steam support a few months ago, they said this is not an issue on their end. So right now the only way to get Teddy and Catherine is to pay €15 for the NFP to get the two personas, therefore truly completing the Anthology.

So it will depend on how Firaxis sets up the pricing system on steam. The easier way, and what I'm afraid of, is that it will just search for the player's library and if the items on the Anthology are all there, then it is free for you. That woud mean people without Teddy or Catherine (that is, who did not buy the NFP bundle) would not be included.

So hopefully they exclude the personas.

Here's how Anthology looks to me. Everything faded other than NFP and the Personas, which have a DLC tag:

if we're having semiramis, have her lead assyria. best not kill zaarin via a double historically questionable aneuryism when only one (semiramis being in) does the trick

also babylon's ability is broken, and i don't see how an additional leader can bring something to the table there. nobody plays babylon because hammurabi has such an inspiring lua.
i would propose a phoenician or sumerian alt before i'd suggest a babylonian one.
